Do I need to obtain resale certificates?

I am approaching retailers/wholesalers/distributors in the US to see if they are interested in purchasing my book for resale. I am using Ingram Spark to print the books in their US warehouse and send them to resellers direct. I live in Australia and I do not have any locations within the US. Do I need the US resellers to sign a resale certificate?
Thank you for your help.

The US Seller should have a resale certificate for the state they have their business in. It has nothing to do with you. By law, if they sell your item to a person who lives in their own state, they must collect sales tax. I do not know of any state in the US that does not charge sales tax on books, unless it is a periodical, like a magazine, but some states do not. Of course there are some states that have no sales tax, but to be a legal business, they need a certificate, but you do not need to do anything.
