iPhone 6 Cases

Hello yall,

Ok so ive been doing this for a few years on a smaller scale but this year I got some money to do it on a much large scale.

So i get iphone cases before the phone comes out each year and yup you guessed it, i have iphone 6 cases. Now some people question the validity of it, and like i said ive been doing this every year with the same company so i know everything will go fine.

I am trying to sell these before everyone else gets there hands on iphone 6 cases. What do you guys think is the best way? I am not trying to sell it one by one but i am trying to sell it as 100 pieces minimum order quantity.

I am in the los angeles area and i know there are tons of cell phone repair shops around here but how about trying to sell it to the internet world? Any help at all will be appreciated.

    Since you would not like to sell your cases one by one, you will have to do things a bit differently if you are to market on the internet.

    In fact, I would recommend you go to your local cell phone repair shops and speak with the owners if you're looking to close those big orders of 100 or more. This would be the easiest way if you ask me.

    On the internet, you'd have to find your audience, and market your products, but very rarely will you see some big sales. This is why I would recommend going offline to sell your products. Plus, you wouldn't have to worry about shipping because you can just deliver them for cash to your local cell phone shops.

    Cold calling is a possibility, but very rarely will people buy from random people. If you go in, meet the owner, make a great impression, it will be so easy for you to close big deals. All you'd have to do, is let them know what you have, and make them a great offer on them.

    Lastly, selling the cases before the iPhone6 comes out would be a great idea. If some of the cell phone shops get their inventory count of the iPhones6's coming in, im sure they'll be happy to make a deal.

      Thanks a lot. Always appreciate any feedback given.

      My plan was to do some cold calling, some face to face sales, and some online sales. I am trying to mix all of them together.

      If any of you have a plan of what i can do to make my conversion better in face to face that will be very helpful, but since this is an internet forum im not expecting that. I just wanted to see how i can increase my chances of selling on the internet.

      My main problem is that people dont really want to pay for something they cant test and prove right there because iphone 6 isnt out, and to be honest i dont blame them. I just need to make my marketing strategy better. So far the only place i have listed them is on ebay, i have done a 100 lot of cases and i am also selling it one by one just to get my name out and sell a few here and there before i start selling by the bulk.

        There are a lot of sellers on Amazon who sell the cases, they might be interested in a good wholesale deal.

    you can easily get on ebay, craigslist, and other business vendor type websites, and get to selling. There's one website: liquidation.com. try it out. Let me know how it goes.

    You could try to contact US based sellers of iPhone 5 cases on eBay that have made a lot of sales
    Maybe they don't have inventory of iPhone 6 cases yet, but are interested in buying larger quantities.

    Just a suggestion. Look at your yellowpages.com for your cell phone repair shops/sales, etc send them a brief email of what you have to offer and follow up with a phone call.

      You could actually try selling them yourself on Amazon. It is very easy and since you will be one of the only ones selling them you will make very good money.

        Actually i have put them up on eBay, Amazon, bonanza and liquidation.com and so far ebay had only one bite.

          You will make a killing selling them one by one.Also much quicker going the offline route. Since you want to sell in bulk and online. I don't recommend listing on liquidation - those buyers are cheap - no offense. First see how the search term with the keyword wholesale, bulk, etc is like. Basically check for traffic, demographics, competitors, trend, etc. Create you a basic website. You will get an idea of traffic based on last iphone release in the keyword planner by using different keyword variations. If you know adwords or PPC - I will give that a try.

          You can try contacting sellers but most likely, they already have their trusted sources. You will have to prove that you are trustworthy, product is of high quality and of course price has to better.

          However, I'm more than sure you figure out which direction you are going to take.

    Old bread but I wanted to add my input, I had iPhone 6 and 6 plus cases 2 weeks before the phone was out and had them on eBay, they did horrible comparing to previous iPhone cases I was selling, don't know why but eBay isn't the way it used to be. Good luck
