Needed a reliable payment gateway

I own a website and I needed a good payment gateway to integrate into my website... I sell software and I don't think I will buy the idea of PayPal cos I have already gotten a bad experience using them.. If you can help out, kindly drop your comment(s) and if you can also open a merchant account in the USA,kindly PM me too and lets talk business... I MEAN BUSINESS

    A payment gateway and a merchant accounts are two different things although they usually go hand in hand.

    The best payment gateway is AuthorizeNet and can pretty much integrate with any backend. You can also manually key in transactions.

    You can either get your own AuthorizeNet account or have the merchant bank provide it for you (almost every merchant bank offers authorizenet as a gateway). You'll need to do a ton of shopping for a merchant account because their pricing and terms are all so different from one another.

    Make sure you read the fine print and contracts thoroughly from the merchant banks. Some have terms and cancellation fees. Some merchant banks have 5 year terms!
