I received a link to this blog today in my inbox and thought it was a pretty good article about Amazon and 3D printing

This Is A Game Changer If You Sell Physical Products - No Inventory Needed Can Save You Big Time

This is certainly going to be a game changer and for the Entrepreneur who has the creativity this could be a huge profit maker with fairly low start up costs. It will be interesting to see where it is going.

    It's funny I was browsing Amazon the other day and noticed that people were already advertising 3d items. I agree with you this is a good opportunity for someone to make some good money. The only thing you have to store is the 3d printer but even those are getting smaller and smaller.

    I personally don't think many people are going to buy this from Amazon, especially due to the fact that a 3D printer costs a fortune as of today.

    A lot of 3D design concepts are free in the internet and some people could leak some Amazon "3D design" and give it to all the world for free.

    eBooks are the same like this...

    You can literally find any book in form of .pdf without buying it.

    In my opinion, this won't be a success for Amazon.

      You can buy a 3D printer for less than a $1,000.

      People still buy books in digital format by the millions.

      This will be all about creativity and I think it will be massive..it's all very basic at the moment but we can look back at this thread in a few years time and see who predicted right

    interesting but I don't see it as a game changer. its not like it can print you out food. maybe for plastic toys it is a game changer.
