selling a site worth over 40K through escrow. help

Hey all,

Just read a few threads on warrior about escrow site sale stuff. I am currently in the process of selling my most prized asset. buyer has verified the payment in escrow and he seems legit.

We are currently in inspection period as i have provided him the domain epp key and unlocked it plus i also gave him access to the site.

But since domain is registered with hostgator and he is transferring it to godaddy it is taking time. I called escrow and they say that he has bought sites before and is a good buyer.

But i am getting paranoid and uncomfortable. What you people think how can I protect myself from any scam ?

      I think you should be okay. I think you're just understandably nervous since you really want the deal to close.

      Keep in contact with escrow.com about your concerns and see how they can address them.

    Thanks mate.

    He has initiated the transfer from godaddy and i received an verification email from godaddy. now i am waiting for verification email from my host.

    But how can i see to which name he will transfer the domain ? because there is no information regarding who will be the new owner of the domain.... you know what i mean ?

    give me a good response again, i need it thanks
