Hey guys,

I have a few sites selling electronic goods, some of them are amazon affiliate sites, some of them drop shipping sites and some of them selling my own stock.

Now I was looking to join all these into one big website. What CMS, pluggin and theme would be best for this? I will obviously need something that can handle amazon affiliate and be able to pull the products I need by itself, but it also needs to be able to handle the sales of my own stock.

Thanks

I personally prefer to use WordPress because of its flexibility. So, IMO,

      CMS: WordPress
      E-Commerce support: Woocommerce plugin
Plugin to pull Amazon data: WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates - Wordpress Plugin (no affiliate link)
Theme: My personal preference goes with Themeforest theme, but any standard and premium woocommerce supported theme will do. If you ask for specific recommendation, I recommend any of these 3 - GoodStore (if you're comfortable in handling Revo Composer), TechGoStore or Legenda

Wish you all the best with your new venture.

Thanks for the awesome response. However I am worried about wordpress when the catalogue gets large. Wordpress might be fine for a couple of hundred items, but what when I start reaching the thousands of items? Will it still be functionable enough?

I have one of my client's site running on WordPress + Woocommerce - the site is pretty much active and over 800 products, still not giving any problem so far. But I've heard complaints about running WordPress store for thousands and thousands products and in that case, many suggest to go for other applications. Basically, scaling depends a lot on how well the server configuration is. IMO, WordPress can go well if your sever is good enough to handle. With a lot of queries generated, many suggest to use plugins like this one.

Magento can do this with the right extensions. Here is 1 example but there are others:
    Magento Amazon Products Manager
