Anyone use SureDone for Multi-Channel Stock Control?

Just search Google for 'suredone forums' - there are some comments (some look made-up) but the simple test is who is their domain registrar - GoDaddy - never a good start.

Now, most don't understand what multi-channel really is. It is purely an ERP with ETL connectors and some BI analytics - all providing business automation. The largest automation suite is SAP - this provides 1,000% increase efficiency - ie. 1person in a corporate company with SAP can do the same as 10people in a small business without automation.

So, the point of multi-channel is to increase your efficiency, the SaaS solutions such as ecomdash, linnworks are all small business solutions with 100-200% efficiency increases* - see below. Channel Advisor sits in the mid-market at 300-500% but costs $1,000s to implement and run monthly, SAP and Oracle will sit at the 700-1,000% levels.

The problem arises that at a small business level, as the efficiency gains as so low, any mistake will materially affect your output. So if you cannot drop in a solution within days to a few weeks for a SaaS small business solution - you have going to start having problems.

What do we use, it's a 800-950% efficiency solution built by SAP architects linking to Magento. Firstly you need to decide what you are trying to achieve, that you need to check your business processes against the solution as at the small business level as there are many more ways to interpret the processes which means more incompatibilites - which leads to lower efficiency. To simplify - the more you have changed your ecommerce solution from the core install the more issues you will have and the more likely that the solution will not provide the gains you are looking for.

Then of course we come to the cost aspect with cogs - margins above 30% - marketplace fees but that is a whole other subject.

Full disclosure - I work for another multichannel inventory management tool (ecomdash), so I have not used SureDone personally. It's likely that SureDone is a new company, but many third-party tools are. Channel Advisor is one that's been around for a long time, but they are pretty pricey (albeit chalk full of integrations and add-on's). Have you tried their free trial yet? That's a good way to get in there and figure out if its a good tool for your business. Test everything, and ask a lot of questions - a good way to see how fast their support team responds.

There is a version based on SAP technology - all the solutions work - it just depends on how much you want to acheive.
