Software to Help in our Product Description Creation Process

I have a ecommerce business. We currently sell on eBay and Amazon and ship 3,000 orders a month. We are expanding to Rakuten, Newegg, Sears, and our own website by the end of the year.

We sell overstock product. 60% of our product is in the apparel category. Most of our product is not listed online anywhere, so we must create our descriptions, etc.

I am looking for a software solution to help us create or inventory descriptions.

Here is our current workflow:

Warehouse organizes inventories clothing items by item, size, color, QTY, UPC.

The warehouse uses a simple Excel sheet with just a few headers:

Item: size: color: qty: UPC:
red sirt xl black 5 093814216740

I then have a listing team that builds on top of the warehouse sheet, entering brand name and attributes to the title, then filling out description, bullet points, image URLs, eBay category #, Amazon item type, and more.

I then map this data to another CSV and import to our selling channels and stock control platform. Excel is obviously the way to go in regards to easily manipulating raw data and being in full control of your content. However, I'm finding that a long day working with hundreds of products in Excel, it's easy for employees to make an error in excel (enter data in a wrong row, etc etc).

I'm thinking about creating a User Form in Excel to have a little more of a GUI feeling.

Any other products program solutions that you can suggest for this process?
