Multiple ways to generate income from lists are selling your own products, selling other products(affiliate marketing), CPA marketing (for freebie seeker), solo ad selling, etc.
I suggest to classify your list as buyer list and freebie seeker one. Promote CPA offer and sell solo ad to freebie seeker list and sell products to buyer list.
Don't only send sales pitch email to your list. Provide valuable information to your list for free. You can provide free gifts regularly. Make engage with you more in social media like facebook, twitter, google+, youtube, etc.
Creating your own products and selling them is the best way to increase your list. When affiliates promote your product, you will get new buyer list.

You could grow your list using ad swaps. Also you could find mmo forums and put a link in your signature and do some posting.

Sorry to say this but this has "spam" written all over it. If you have a list that long then the obvious thing is to keep them engaged and keep adding value to them... provided they opted in to your list.

Please don't spam others with cold lists, there are plenty of those out there. Grow your list with value and build real relationships with real people. Naturally you will see what they need, what products you can create and what affiliate products, services, etc. you can give to them.

Get out of that spammy mindset and you will see your income multiply!

1. Promote multiple offers in this niche, really don't need more than that
2. Provide value, don't only shove affiliate offers down their throats, give free training, promote interaction so you know what they want
3. Have a sqz page with a free gift, best if it's something of your creation, post link to WF signature, JV giveaways, create WSO offers

I think your best bet is to activate those people as subscribers. To do that you should send them an initial offer with your introduction, and offer them some free product to download like a report or a digital product. This way, you get their permission and you can mail them in future. They will know you and buy more from you

1. Create trust between you and your subscribers ( ex, share 2-3 free ebooks, or videos )
2. Search the forums for your competition and propose them to offer your free gift to their subscribers
3. Create an autoresponder series slowly promoting your product --> this means sales

If someone didn't have a clue how to sell, it's highly unlikely they'd have a 25k list in the first place. Not a genuine one. Maybe a paid-for trashy list, but certainly not a worthwhile one they built themselves.

I'm guessing you probably have no list. In which case you're jumping the gun by a long long way. Go back to the very start and learn how to start list building and drive traffic and move forward from there.

I know how you feel. I was like that when I started as a raw newbie. I wanted to know so much and I constantly looked way further down the road than I was. I wanted to know more and more about how it all worked. But it does you no favours. In fact it will probably confuse the hell out of you. You're trying to connect the dots when you haven't even got most of the dots on the page yet.

Start at the beginning, and only work on things that get the beginning stages done. Then move to the next step and only focus on what you need to do for that step. Keep on going like that.

As it is, if you need to ask the question that you did, it sounds like you're at Step 0 and you want to know the mechanics of what you need to do at Step 20. You'll never get the full picture even if someone gives you a great explanation, because you don't even know the very basics steps yet.

The answers to all the questions you've asked (and many others related to them) necessarily depend on a large range of issue you haven't mentioned, Joe.

Everything you want to know depends on how you built the list, where the traffic came from, how you opted them in, how you set their expectations, how you built a relationship with them, what you gave them in exchange for their email address, and how you've maintained continuity with them.

Forgive me if I sound outspoken, but without understanding that, first, you're nowhere near ready to try to do any email marketing, and a list of 25,000 people interested in MMO products/services will almost certainly have no value to you, at all. I'm honestly not exaggerating.

I can't belive you have this list. If I had 25K list there will be no problem for me how to sell things to customers even if I have no knowledge. You can find all advices using google.
How they subscribed to your list, why they subscribed to your list?
Just ask them if you want, what they need in MMO niche.

Making money with a list of any size is as simple as selling your own stuff, selling someone elses stuff and monetizing the freebie seemers. HOW MUCH money you will make depends entirely on what lead these people to join your list to begin with.
If youve connected with them and they want to hear from, the skys the limit. If not, the limit's the sky.

There is only one answer to all questions. Provide value but dont try to make money all the time. Your list will drop either you provide good content or bad. So to keep it fresh use Youtube with Long tail keywords to rank videos fast. Get some backlinks to those videos. Videos is the easiest way none other when it comes to Long tail. Commit to add 10 videos daily for at least 20-30 days in your niche.
