Hi all
How do I get started in email marketing, where can I learn the ropes, like an email for dummies so to speak. I have purchased a few scammy products and I am at my wits end. Is there something out there? I was told to get " The super list" by Alex Jeffery, not sure if that's what I need though( without knowing what the product is) I kinda know what email marketing is ( find a product build a list sell to the list ect) but Im looking for someone to hold my hand to show me the ropes.
Thanking you ahead

If you are looking to start out as an Affiliate and not product creator, "The Super List" is a program that will not help you out ..........at least for right now.

I have mentioned these two programs before in the past and they are excellent.

Paul Nicholl's "Avalanche List Building" and Mike Hills " List Building Freedom" are very , very good in getting a solid education.

    Try googling them.

When you already know what is email marketing, I recommend you should check the super list by Alex Jeffreys again, I learned from that course too.

I learned from Chris Farrell & Igor Kheifets. Both of these have great, simple to implement training styles.

Chris Farrell is good, but it's super basic stuff, so if you really know nothing about e-mail marketing, start with him

    Hi,

To get started in email marketing you need the following:

    1) Landing page ( to collect emails)
    2) Autoresponder to capture emails such as get response or aweber
    3) Affilaite links to promote to your list
    4) A lot of traffic to your list

    Kind regards

If you're looking for a product on email marketing, Lee Murray's stuff is pretty good.

The other one I'd recommend is Mark Tandan's Goofball Guide to Email Marketing. He goes into detail about how to get good open rates, headlines, email content, scheduling, etc.

Buy yourself the leads from trusted seller. If your site is related to gaming find gaming sites and harvest leads. Or contact owner and try to make a deal with it . After that write content and email them . Simple as that , as much replies you get your list grown.

Hi there, there really are a lot of courses out there and I think you're doing the right thing of researching products by asking people's opinions. I've found Anik Singal's course is great, it is really step by step and I find I'm starting to have success with it. You can click here to find out more

You're on the right track. First off, it's super important to have a foundation to work with. You need to have a great affiliate marketing program. Something that you believe in. I would recommend only purchasing products that have a reasonable return policy. Most are 1 or 2 months. That way the risk is minimal.

With that being said, I believe it's important that the developer of a product deserves to be paid if what they are offering is quality. So, make sure to research first. Google products and do your due diligence.

There are a lot of great products and you will find one that works for you. Once you have your product, read and go through it back to front so you understand everything. Then take action and start implementing the system. Don't think too much about every detail. Just get your system running and then make tweaks as you go along and learn.

You will naturally get better at marketing in time.

Don't expect to get rich overnight. It takes time to master techniques and understand fully why something works and why something doesn't.

You will get discouraged along the way. That's ok and is the nature of any business. Just don't give up. Most marketers fail because they don't follow through for long enough. Keep pushing and you will experience success.

One more thing that I think will help you and I do this myself...set up a "dummy" email account and subscribe to all sorts of lists through squeeze/landing pages. Study how other marketers work. For example, the types of emails that you receive. You should see a mix of great content, relationship builders and of course sales type emails. I recommend a balanced variety of each style.

When you truly care about your list and it's not all about the money, I believe this will shine through and your subscribers will trust you and your opinions and make purchases based on your recommendations.

Make sure to pick out what you like and don't like about the emails you start receiving. Incorporate the things you do like into your own style.

    Hopefully this helps you out.

Good luck and I'm sure you'll do well!

Email marketing is when we use email as our channel of communication, to develop and nurture the relationship with our list of subscribers.

I read Feed A Starving Crowd by Robert Coorey. This book gave me some ideas that I applied to my marketing strategies. After two tries that I ended up falling flat on my face, the third one was the charm. I poured hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars into the first two projects.

Sadly disappointed I returned to the second of three sites that I created, which I had forgotten about and left sitting on the burner. I was floored, totally astonished to realize that 2 months later I had over 9,000+ subscribers without even trying. Opportunity kicked me straight into the waters of email marketing. I just sat there thinking to myself, "wow, dude, I need to email these people back."

Robert Coorey is correct when he says that first you find that special crowd and then they will seek you. I found that doing it this way is a lot of fun, plus it is cheaper and you take out a lot of the frustration from the formula..

Personally I never suggest anyone spending money on any service or product until you have dried up every free resource possible. There is tons of free information available, whether or not you find it depends on how bad you want it. Just do some research. Another good choice is to find yourself an experienced Affiliate Manager, most will help guide you + we are free!
