Aweber email editor double spacing problem

I've Googled this and found no answer.

When I press the [ENTER] key when writing an email
in Aweber text editor I get a double space. How can I prevent this?

I have to write my emails in Notepad and then copy and paste
them in the editor. But can't continue doing this.

Hold shift key and then press the enter button.

    Problem solved! :-)

Thanks, this works but it's really annoying though. With the old editor
you didn't have this problem. Talk about improvement.

        You're welcome!

I've only been with AWeber for a few months, never seen the old editor... though it is weird why anyone would automatically make the enter button double space. What a pain!

I have had this problem too and sometimes pressing shift and then enter works and sometimes it doesn't. I recently discovered that if I paste information from another source, the formatting from this sources comes with the text. To over ride this I have 'Text Editor' ( I have a mac) to remove all formatting. Hope that helps.

I've made a recent switch to Getresponse - and although there's many differences between the two, both pro and con... one of the nicer things about Getresponse is their message editor.

Much nicer to use than Aweber's... but still problems, of course... the irritating options box that always seems to get in the way at times... I've learned how to work around it... but overall, GR is just quite pleasant to work with in comparison to Aweber.

I know EXACTLY what you are talking about, yes it is annoying.

There are a few glitches within Aweber that they need to fix.

One way I have fixed this issue is by closing out the entire post completely.

And adding a new "article" or whatever you want to add from there it works just fine.

I didn't know about the shift trick either until now.
