Looking for email template builder

hi all, hope someone can help.

I am looking for an online SaaS type tool that will allow me to build emails without using code. So drag-and-drop. I DONT need an email delivery tool because we use Marketo for that and are locked in. I find the template options in Marketo are poor and would like the ability to create my own email templates and then export the code into Marketo for delivery. I need to create different templates for different markets and relying on marketo slows everything down.

I love the marketplace option on Hubspot where you do exactly this, but that is available only to hubspot users.

I know Mailchimp and exact target etc all offer this, but their primary competency is in delivery and not creation. I want something really slick and sophisticated for building.

I dont mind paying a SaaS fee - any pointers?

Amen, Fraggle. I've been looking for the same thing for months. I can't believe nobody has built an app like this for those of us that use self-hosted email marketing solutions, but don't want to edit our content by hand in HTML (and using Dreamweaver just breaks the code).

I just asked this exact question in MailChimp support. I was hoping I could pay to use their editor and use the code within my self-hosted service (Interspire Email Marketer).

I did the same thing with hubspot! I asked if we could buy templates independent of the Hubspot ecosystem. I even went and found the original designers and LINKEDIN'd them.

Problem is, even if I do buy the templates, I have no way to edit...

There should be a way to do this in MailChimp however I am not so sure if they would allow for self hosting solutions.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass (I'm really not), but what did that add to the conversation or question we both have?
