For my own product I use a mix of click tracking software and UTM parameters (for Google analytics). For each link that in place in my emails I will have a link in My Click Boss that is specific to it. I can then use the tracking pixels I My Click Boss to see which link has generated the most conversions. In addition the UTM parameters are passed through to analytics and I can use goals to see which ones have converted.

For affiliate links I use the tracking options available. For example clickbank allows you to add a tracking id at the end of the link. I ensure this matches the specific email I embend the link in. Then in click bank you can see which tracking ids have converted.

I agree with the previous poster... between 'My Click Boss' and Pretty Link - I can look at just about any metric I want.

I also use Piwik - just to get away from the 800 pound gorilla...

I use Pretty Link WP. It works Pretty Good. ( I think that was a kind of Pun, no ?? )

Also. if it is affiliate Links most Affiliate networks I am involved with have custom tracking for every Member.

It can be time consuming but so worth it . Very crucial.

Personally I also use the free version of Clickmeter to track my links.

It doesn't matter what you use so long as you track!

      Repeat 100 times.

UTM codes and google analytics work fine tools like Improvely are another level with lots of pretty graphs and infomation. Horses for courses

It seems like you want to track individual emails for conversion.

To do that, you'll require a little bit of ninja operating.

Each email would require its own individual link so you could track sales. (It sounds like you want to track sales specifically on a per email basis, right?).

In that case you'll need to setup tracking on each individual link, because hey - you could track open and click through rates through your autoresponder assuming you use Aweber/GetResponse - or any of the big ones.

As far as tracking sales, you could use something like ClickMagick to set that up.

(I too love to use Pretty Link Lite, but I'm not sure if you can track sales with it?).

If you're a guru who disagrees, don't bite my head off. This is just my two cents, and I wish everyone the best.
