Problem with get response single opt-in feature

Hi, I'm new in the internet matketing world and recently I've created an account in getresponse. I am in the free trail period now and I made my squeeze page and follow up message and disabled double optin from the settings. I create a new email to test the whole business but I still got a confirmation message. what should I do with that? and is there any additional fees when using their landing page creator ?

You are using a Single Optin right? So you will not receive any confirmation email!

You will receive email series if you have already setup your autoresponder sequence... Let me know if I got you right.

Did you use a web form from GR or are you using their API with some kind of software?

SIngle opt-in is disabled if you use their API and you have to send them a ticket so they can review your account and enable that manually for you.

Or may be it's just that you are on the trial plan and they don't want to risk it.

How did you add your own email address to the autoresponder? In settings, there are three different options for which you'll need to choose if all subscription methods should be single optin or just e-mail subscriptions for instance. ...

That seems more like the likely solution. Having used GetResponse in the past and encountered the same problem, this was how I fixed it at the time.

You have access to some landing pages as a normal member, but to use landing page creator it will cost $15/ month.

I suggest to use an external program to create landing pages though. Leadpages.net is a good one to look in to.

    Kind regards,

If you are integrating LeadPages or any landing page service with GetResponse via their API key you will have enabled double optin automatically. Like gmichel said, you need to contact them and they will tell you what you need to do to enable this.

I am switching to GetReponse right now and they told me I had to include a privacy policy in my site as well as other things that I don't remember right now. It's mostly for security reasons but it's not a big deal, just ask them on the live chat. They have very good customer support.

    Hope this helps,
