Open Images without having to Download?

So my boss has asked me to send out an email to market to some potential new customers. He's asking to have the email designed so that once it comes through in their Inbox the images are open automatically instead of having to click 'download images'. He also wants to be able to design it from the ground up, with clickable hyperlinks embedded in text and images.

I have no idea where to start with this as it is something that is completely new to me and I'm struggling to find a solution. Does anyone have any experience with this that could point me towards some advice on this?

Any help is much appreciated

    Can't be done.

If the end user doesn't have graphics enabled, there's no way to force the email program to open a graphic.

Clickable hyperlinks are easy... simply format them normally (an HTML link), and they will work.

In general, something like this: "<a href="endingsite.com">Go here for a discount!</a>

It cannot be done, by default email programs do not display images, unless user goes into settings and changes t. Which likely not happening a lot.

As far as my knowledge goes, it can't be done. Web hosts don't allow it to protect the receiver from any unwanted images.
