Anything better than Leadpages?

Hello,

Has anyone come across anything better than leadpages?

If you don't know leadpages has very high quality and high converting landing pages, works really well with building a list by giving a free product away.

Has worked fine for me in the past, just seeing if there are any others out there.

  • Take a look at the "profit builder" plugin.

Obviously it's not going to load pages as quickly as leadpages. It is, after all... a plugin. But you can create some really good pages with it.

      Stole my answer!

But yeah, I love Profit builder, especially for the fact it's not a monthly payment.

That was always a turn off on lead pages, for me

    clickfunnel.com

its a whole funnel instead of making squeeze pages and optin pages, its Rusell Brunson's

new business. Quite amazing once I saw what it could do.

The best thing you can do is put yourself out there.

My personal favorite is LeadPages. The monthly fee amount is a bit annoying, but worth it if you plan on building multiple landing pages. Every once in awhile I will look around for something better, but haven't seen anything yet that suits me.

1minutesites is also a great alternative. It has many of the same features as Leadpages, but the main difference is that it's fairly unknown by the large public. This means the templates are fresh and the conversion rate simply has to be higher.

Downside: it's also a monthly payment...

1minutesites has now introduced a yearly payment option as well. I prefer them to Leadpages as well.

Optimize press is pretty good for creating squeeze pages sales pages and membership sites.

Instabuilder plugin is also pretty good and optimize press. Lead pages is good but you will have issues intergrating it with a member site like DAP - Digital Access Pass. But the support is good with lead pages. You get instant chat if you upgrade.

    ClickFunnels is superior by FAR.

You can even build membership sites in about 5 mins

I switched from leadpages to Clickfunnels recently for several reasons.
      1. You can build beautiful landing pages in CF just like you can in LP (I'm calling Clickfunnels CF and Leadpages LP)
      2. The entire funnel is set up for you in CF which makes it so easy!
      3. CF also has easy to build membership pages where you can deliver your courses or content (which means I was also able to cancel my Jigsawbox subscription as well.)
      4. CF also has a way for you to present automated webinars, which meant I could cancel another service I had been using
      5. The support is excellent
      6. CF also has tiered pricing depending on what you need so you can start with a cheaper package if necessary.

I highly recommend ClickFunnels (and I'm not even much of a Russel Brunsen fan haha)

Yet ClickFunnels completely fails in one key aspect: the amount of traffic you're allowed to send to your CF pages is extremely limited.

LeadPages on the other hand, is unlimited. That alone makes LP a hands-down winner for anyone with a real business with real traffic.

I personally use OptimizePress, I've never used LeadPages it's overpriced in my opinion.

I am an old school, do them myself with html and css.

P.S: I do own OptimizePress as well, and tried using it. It is quite a good solution, but I found it to be not flexible enough especially if you already have established website and using your own theme. So I stopped using it.

    But otherwise impressive solution.

I've heard that LandingPage Monkey has pretty much all the features of LeadPages yet it's a one-off payment. I haven't bought it but I see a lot of marketers are convinced that it's a viable yet cheaper alternative.

The best complimentary alternatives to LeadPages I know about are:

    1. ClickFunnels (hosted)
    2. WP Profit Builder (plugin)
    3. Landing Page Monkey (hosted)
    4. InstaBuilder (plugin)
    5. SqueezeMatic (hosted)
    6. 1MinuteSites (hosted)

My highest converting squeeze pages are very basic. Might I suggest learning it 'old school' ??

Download Kompozer (if you can use MS Word, you can use Kompozer).

Use a table to break up your page into a header, opt-in form, footer, etc. Paste the web form HTML code into one of the rows.

Save as an .html file then use FileZilla or File Manager to upload into your 'public_html' directory then voila! Your squeeze page will be located at yourdomain.com/xxxx.html

I've also seen many good squeeze pages created using a basic Wordpress Page.

Hey, it's free. And I've had great success doing this personally.

The thing about leadpages is they sort templates by conversions so if you choose one that is high up on the list then you can be relatively certain that the template will serve you well. That has been my experience when testing against some optimize press pages I built with almost identical content.

I have only used the free templates so far and while they are not that visually impressive they convert.
