Hi warriors,

I want to share with you my aweber stats. I created a new follow up series. I am offering a free ebook on the squeeze page. The emails are as follow:

email 1 - I send the ebook
email 2 - I ask if he/she read the ebook
email 3 - I say I will send emails periodically containing useful information. I put a unsubscribe link too.
email 4 - I use the "story-telling" technique, telling my personal story, and building trust.
email 5 - I reveal what makes my life change (the affiliate product) and link to the clickbank ebook.
email 6 - I describe an usefull technique which supports the need to purchase the ebook. Link to the clickbank ebook too.

After a month, these are my stats

342 suscribers

these are my clickbank stats

No sales....

Is that normal? I think I should have sold something.

I must say I am targeting Latin/Spanish traffic.

Hope you guys can help me to make a sale

I think the problem all lies within with your email marketing series. But first of all - be real with yourself and make sure that you're promoting an affiliate product that's dead-on with what your leads are looking for. But back to what i was saying...

Change the email series. Sounds like you're wasting their time and looking to build up *fluff* just to meet the "7-day sale" ridiculous *quota* that you will hear online. Send them super good email info - starting on day 1. And don't stop emailing them. At least email them for a full 365 days. That's right, don't give up on them. Change the info in your email series, and make sure the affiliate product is what they want.

Yes, consistency is key. You have to make sure that your product is exactly what they are looking for.

Check the message across your entire sales funnel. Is it properly aligned with what you're selling?

If you give an e-book, is your e-book properly aligned with the products?

You need to see the big picture here, Rduque. With this I mean that your follow-up series is just a part of the sales funnel.

Here's how I look at things:

    1. Squeeze page/landing page where I incentivize subscribers to opt in, by offering a free PDF. I also mention that they'll receive emails and product promotions, and how often.
    2. Thank you page explaining how to white list my email address and to look for my first email in their inbox.
    3. First email with an explanation and link to the free PDF.
    4. Free PDF where I brand myself, set the expectations again (meaning saying that they'll also receive emails with more information and product promotions).
    5. Second email with more information.
    6. Third email, with information and product promotion.
    7. Forth email, and so on and so forth.

I also don't send emails just with my story and stuff like that. Only with information they need and can use. Nobody cares about you - they'll only after what's in it for them. (But "about me" stories are good for branding, so you can use them in your free guide.)

So, the way I see it, a sales funnel should be like the links in a chain - many pieces connected consecutively.

Make a survey of what they need and line up your products accordingly.

I know you gave stats, but it is impossible to know what and where things went wrong.

It can start from how you acquire your list and how targeted it is and did you do your marketing research?!?!

Then of course how you communicate with them. You mentioned story telling, but it doesn't really tells us much.

Finally the issue might be with the sales page of the product, the sales page might have a poorly written sales copy. Or maybe product price is not really good fit for the income of your target audience.

It can be any of those things, there simply no way to know.
