ALWAY have a MWR before You Send out that Email ! ;)

I learned this term from Marketer Steve Scott a while back.

MWR= Most Wanted Response

And before you send out an Email to your List you need to Plan EXACTLY the intent of the Email.

And what specifically do you want your reader to do... a.k.a MWR

It could be you want your Reader to :
1. Just read or view Content and learn something from it
2. Click on a link within your Email. It could be a promotional link or a lInk going to a blog or Facebook page etc..
3. Have a Combo . Provide an Email where you want the Reader to get a lot out of the Content and then maybe at end of email click have a Link to a Product that could help them

It is important to identify what you want your Reader to do before you push that Send button

    The first time I came across the term MWR was Dr. Ken Evoy's "Make Your Site Sell" ebook. It was true then, it was true when Scott used it, and it's true today.

    Everything you do in your contact with customers and prospects, not just emails, should be done with the desired result in mind.

    Oh, and for anyone who might be curious, I believe you can still download the 1,000+ page monster 2002 edition of MYSS from the SiteSell website - free. Some of the tactics are outdated, but for a 13 year old product, it's amazingly informative.
