Email Content Locker For Wordpress?

This seems a bit difficult to find for email as most content lockers target social sharing rather than email opt-ins.

I am just looking for as many options as possible for a content locker that unlocks when a visitor enters their email. So far I have only found plugins that successfully support single opt-in, but it would be nice to have the double opt-in (confirmed opt-in) to ensure a real email is used to unlock the content.

These are the two that i have found:

WordPress - Opt-In Content Locker for WordPress | CodeCanyon

WordPress - Subscriber Content Lock for WordPress | CodeCanyon

The problem with either of these plugins is that a single wordpress update could wipe out their functionality so continual updates on them is crucial for long term usage.

Do any of you know of other email content lockers that supports either single or double opt-in email submits?

Take note that I am not talking about CPA ad network email submits. What I'm talking about would integrate with my aweber and the emails would be added to my own autoresponder.

I am sorta curious, why would people want locked content in their emails. If it's not confidential than would you mind telling us a bit about what you would be giving them. I get content lockers in blogs but i am a bit confused when it comes to emails.

Perhaps you can do the same thing, but won't people be a bit sensitive about receiving locked offers in their emails.

I don't know about any lockers though, Just learned about what content lockers some time back.

That's not quite what I'm talking about, and perhaps i wasn't clear, but allow me to clarify.

The content locker i am referring to goes onto my wordpress blog so when a particular page or post gets clicked a large portion of the content (or all of it) is hidden and an option comes up to enter your email to unlock the content.

This has nothing to do with locking content within an email or anything.

Delayed response. Found this through Google search results, and hope others searching for the same problem benefit from this answer.

You can use any optin form/auto responder for the purpose. You just create a new list in your auto responder and send the "locked content" as the first response post email confirmation. This makes sure -
    1. people supplying legit emails get the benefits
    2. you have confirmed opt-ins of interested subscribers who are willing to listen in the future too

The plugins you have mentioned are good, but they don't look quite good and do break from time to time. Here are a few that can make life easier.

    LeadPages
You set up different pages for the links you use, and watch as they kick into action. It integrates quite easily with most auto responders, and the popup looks beautiful.
You can do much more on LeadPages including stand-alone subscriber forms, heavy-duty A/B testing and use it on unlimited domains.
On the flip side you pay a monthly fee for the service - starts from $37/month. You can see this in action on Backlinko.com.

    OptinMonster
Again, a good looking plugin that can do social share, opt-in and A/B tests. Love the designs, typography and lightbox popups by this plugin. Costs $49/month.

    OptinSkin
Comparable to OptinMaster - fewer templates, but good customization options. Used and promoted on viperchill.com.
Costs $67/single website or $97 for unlimited websites.

    Ninja Popups
An opt-in plugin from code canyon that functions as an opt-in locker, social locker, and can get an optin form sit pretty on the side bar.
I found this as a good balance between feature set and price. Costs $18 /site.

    Thrive Leads
Yet another beautiful looking for creating opt-in forms, and have numerous options on where to place them.
$69 for one domain, $97 for unlimited sites.

Not quite what I'm talking about.

What i need is this: when a locked page on a site has its link clicked a pop up comes up asking for email opt-in. The password to the locked page is then sent to in the first email, but the plugin's function is to ask for the email prior to viewing the locked page.

I didn't find a quality option for what I'm talking about, which makes me think i should seek out a programmer to have this built for me. It's pretty simple, but a long term option doesn't seem to be out there.

The Bloom plugin from ElegantTheme has a "locked-content" optin that you're looking for. However I don't think it validates/confirms the email (e.g. with double opt-in) . It will just unlock the content if a visitor enter an email into the optin form and succesfully registered to the email provider.

here you can download : Email Content Locker for WordPress | Welcome To Nsofts - The Total Solution of Your Business
      how it will work?
      1. download plugin and active from wp-admin
      2. get the short-code
      3. put in any post, page and custom post type [lock-it url="downloading link that is being email" name="file name"]
      4. as out put there will be a form display where visitor can put the email address and name.
      5. visitor will receive a email from your site/domain that will contact the link which one you added in short-code, that's it.
ALSO I need some suggestions and idea for new feature.
of course plugin have one control panel where admin can see the email address and import/export to any other email marketing scripts, like mailchimp, aweber etc...
      your suggestion welcome.

      Thank you!
I would like to see this in action. There should also be a customizable page that pops up after the email is put in that tells the visitor to look at their email for the confirmation link to open the page up.

I will be following this to see how it develops. Thank you for your response.
