Hello friends ,

Recently two of my friends email account shut down by aweber. Both are marketrs doing clickbanking and email swaps.

One has around 5000 subscribers and others have around 6000.I am little panick using aweber now.I am become more conscious about complain ratio now.

What do you think guys ?Is it safe to use aweber ?

Try Mailchimp. Pretty good with all the analytics it provides.

Yes, Aweber is good. But, if you are looking for a good alternate option, then I use and recommend GetResponse.

I would recommend aWeber as they do have a bit more features and I think their system is easier to use.... With that said other services like MailChimp (I have used) get the job done if all you're trying to do is generate an opt-in form.

Aweber, GetResponse, and TrafficWave are the top 3 around... the main difference is trafficwave never charges more than flat fee of 17,95/mo and you can have unlimited lists, unlimited subscribers and send unlimited messages. They also have BETTER deliverability.

    See the comparison here:

I use GetResponse and I'm happy with it.

I don't think there's much difference between the big 4 (aweber, getresponse, mailchimp and constant contact) except maybe a few features.

    Yes, very much so.

As is the case for any hosted autoresponder service, clients consistently incurring more than 0.1% of spam complaints are going to have problems, though. When people are "getting accounts closed" that's nearly always what it comes down to, and if it does, then changing autoresponder services isn't the answer they're looking for and will usually provide only a very temporary respite. It's the type/method of emails they're sending that they need to change, not the service they use.

This thread explains in some detail (if you click on the links inside it) why it might be a very good idea to stay well away from Mailchimp, where "internet marketers" are not at all welcome: http://www.warriorforum.com/email-ma...ml#post9689403

There's a huge difference for internet marketers between Mailchimp and the other three you've mentioned, Ron.

I realized it as soon as I wrote it. I actually moved from MailChimp to GetResponse.

If you are sending quality emails and the prospects on your lists actually opted in, than you are not doing anybody harm. People that abuse their lists and that use harvested emails tend to be the people who get their accounts shut down. Aweber is the best and has a good relationship with email providers such as Gmail. Learn proper email marketing than from their build a quality list. If you really are concerned you can always use Double Opt in.

Its more than likely not Aweber, but email swaps that are causing the issue. I get dinged every once in a while from Aweber, but I have never had my account shut down.

    It's interesting.

Everytime a friend or 'someone someone else knows' gets an account shut down...

It's almost as if that email marketing service is the bad guy.

Aweber, amongst any of the other elite email marketing services simply know what they are doing...

So if your friends got their accounts shut down...

I believe the better question to ask would be...

"Were my friends doing good for email marketing?"

    .

    .

Answering your question: Is Aweber safe to use?

    Yes.

Yes ,i do ask him the reason for it.

I got the conclusion that if anyone is doing adswaps and clickbanking than he needs to monitor his aweber account closely.Espcially he needs to take care of the complain ratio and also think of the back up option.

I am thankful all the warriors for their input so i will get to know that what to do now in order to be safe in this business model.
