If you're managing a list in the hundreds, thousands or low tens of thousands and you only collect leads through the internet, then there's no better service than Aweber.

Send Better Email | MailChimp
MailChimp is a fantastic place for beginning marketers to get started. Their "forever free" plan allows you to create a list on MailChimp for free as long as your list is under 500 users

Email Marketing Services - iContact

iContact is a great choice for small to medium sized marketers who do want to import outside lists. iContact allows you to add people to your list manually or through import.

Email, Social, and Event Marketing Solutions
If you're a fan of HTML or graphical emails, Constant Contact can be great choice as an email marketing tool. Again, they're geared primarily for marketers who have lists in the hundreds, thousands or low to mid tens of thousands.

Small Business CRM | Marketing Software Small Business | Infusionsoft
InfusionSoft is the tool of choice for serious marketers. If you run a six figure online business or have a list larger 50,000 subscribers, this may be the tool for you.

GetResponse and Trafficwave.net are other good options.

I'm now using Trafficwave because of (1) The low monthly cost $17.95 for unlimited lists and subscribers (2) High deliverablilty (3) A lucrative affiliate program.

No - it isn't. It's a dreadful place for any kind of "marketer" to get started. Mailchimp is hostile toward internet marketers, which is why so many Warriors have lost their accounts there, and between them compiled many dozens of threads warning our fellow-members to stay away from Mailchimp. A selection of the most recent ones is listed here: http://www.warriorforum.com/email-ma...ml#post9689403

There's a thread specifically reserved for this pupose of commenting on various different autoresponder services, Jonathan, so that the board isn't covered in them: http://www.warriorforum.com/email-ma...te-thread.html

Yes, Mailchimp will Ban your Account not only if you are selling affiliate Products with their AR service, but if you are involved with Affiliate Marketing in any way, shape, or form outside of their Service...
      they will Ban you.

It almost wreaks of Communism , really.

But as ridiculous as that is, it is their Company and they can do as they please .

      No thanks

I prefer Getresponse for several different reasons...

    1. They're very affordable

    2. They have a mobile app that allows me to compose emails and check stats while on the go.

    3. They're action triggered email feature allows me to create BDR (behavioral dynamic response) campaigns with ease.

    4. The time capsule feature allows me to send out emails to everyone on my list at the same time of day no matter where they are in the world.

For example, if I want an email to be sent out at 9 am, I just create the email and then use the time capsule feature.

Does not matter where my subscriber is in the world. As soon as it hits 9 am in their time zone, they will get my email

    Just my 2 cents...

I'm the new guy her, but I've looked at all of the major (and a few of the minor) autoresponders out there. As of yet, I am HIGHLY favoring GetResponse.

I had narrowed my choices down to Constant Contact, Aweber and GetResponse. After looking at each of them in-depth, I decided on GetResponse. This is saying a lot, because a friend of mine is "Master Certified" with Constant Contact (and is gonna be kick my a$$ when he finds out that I'm going with GetResponse).

Look at a few of the tutorials on their site, and you'll see what I mean.

Getresponse interface is better than most of the autoresponders but when I signed up with them a month or 2 ago and tested my seed emails and all of my emails landed in the spam folder of hotmail, gmail, yahoo, and aol

checked the ip reputation at senderscore and it was obvious why

I never even sent my first email yet and already on crap ip ranges, so I canceled and joined aweber.

Any of you guys actually land in hotmail inbox with GR?

    Interesting.

Can we segment list in Get Response?

In Aweber, we have to use third-party tool (well, I don't mind that as long as it is free... which it clearly isn't).

Yes, list segmentation is a breeze with GetResponse. You can set it up to segment your list automatically based on actions taken (purchased X product, signed up for X course) which is very convenient.

    Love Aweber.

Despite the fact that it's not the only autoresponder I use or have used...

It takes the cake hands down, and love their customer service.
