Hello All,

I am interested in building a list. I have an Aweber account and am interested in the best techniques for list building. Does anyone have any pointers that they think are invaluable? What about the best product to get that will point me in the best direction. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

First of all, it quite depends on the niche you are looking to target, because you would be building a list quite differently in the IM niche than any other market like health or dating etc.

People outside IM are not as willing to simply give somebody their email address, so it might even be better to just try to build a buyers list instantly.

So can you please ellaborate?

A good way to build a list is sparking convos with leads and pitching them an offer down the road of a friendly conversation. And large list of emails will work for this even if they arnt targeted. Let's say you scrape leads off jobs section in CL, then your first email can be as simple as:

"Hey [name], got your email off Craigslist. Saw you were interested in marketing?"

Then automate a convo and the system is in place
