I have a mail list of 2000+ websites owners using wordpress as CMS. How to monetize this list? Please share your experiences.

        Build a relationship with them, maybe give them some advanced tips on the theme.

        Look for or create quality (general) plugins like, wordpress security, backing up their site.

        Ask you list what they are need to make their site better.

        Ok. Here are some options based off my own experience:

        If you still sell themes, you can offer them a discount of your themes in a bundle. If they bought from you before, they might again. Remember to remind them how you got their email so they dont think your spam.

        If you are a web designer, I would suggest reaching out to them asking if any of them need any web design work or help with their website. If you can pick up a few clients out of this list it will be worth while.

        If you dont do any of those, you can always promote affiliate products. Asking them just to buy right away though would be a bad idea. Try building a relationship with them and offering them some free wordpress stuff.

    Need more information. How did you get the list? Is the WordPress CMS the only connection? How are you planning to contact them (might depend on how you got the list).

    You can promote a wordpress plugin that have an affiliate program and earn a comission there is a lot on jvzoo.

      Hi. Thank you for your reply. I know some famous approaches. But I want to make my list valuable and I don't want to spam them. Looking for approaches that at least have $1/email/month money in them. Do you ever hear a good email list make $1/email/month?
      Some one in warrior forum told if you know what you should do, you can earn $10/email/month? What do you think? Is it really possible?

        You can make money from your list, you just need to act and do split testing, there is no magic formula, yes top internet marketers and web entrepreneurs say that every email in the list worth 1$ month, its possible, just try, do split testing.

    Nothing more to add here. I think you're on the right track. Personally, I'd recommend with the idea suggested of helping them get more out of what they already bought from you - since that's the immediate connection they have with you - and then move onto the bundles.

      I don't like to introduce any new theme to them, because I want to keep them using my theme, not tell them leave my theme and choose another one. However I can promote plugins to them.
