Infusionsoft Alternative or...?

Anyone know of an infusionsoft alternative that lets you define what smtp to use?
The main thing I would want is something that has a comparable campaign builder.

I would consider in addition to, a self hosted autoresponders that's contact centric rather than list centric if it has really good automation.

I know sendgrid has a product coming out called routed, but I know nothing about it other than it's suppose to have a lot of automation. I'm on their beta tester invite list.

I've been checking out the arpreach demo, which is the only self hosted autoresponder that is contact centric that I could find. It however looks like it just has basic automation. Compared to the campaign builder in infusionsoft that is.

It seems the majority here use aweber, getresponse, etc... So this thread may not get much response, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

    I did not know that Infusionsoft allows to use external smtp.

    I believe ontraport allows you to define your smtp if you want, but you likely to lose all the reporting that comes with using their smtp.

    But don't take my word for this, talk to their representative and ask.

    On a side note: arpreach looks good, but I believe the development been halted almost a year ago and developer doesn't even responds in the support forums.

      Infusionsoft doesn't have a way to use external smtp.

      arpreach was just purchased by a new company just a few days ago. I know they have a lot planned, but don't know any specifics. They are running a sale right now. $297 for the gold version with installation and 10 domain license. I'm thinking about buying it and just sitting on it. I bet in a year or so it will be a pretty good program.

        I've been seeing that gold sale for at least a year.

        Interesting news, I looked around the website but couldn't find no news about the purchase.

        You might also check Interspire software supposedly has comparable to arpreach set of futures.

    I use Sendgrid (via Ontraport) AND have a private IP with Ontraport. GREAT deliverability.

      I have never seen their automation before. Are you familiar with infusionsoft campaign builder and how does it compare?

      Is there any difference in pricing if your not sending with their smtp...using sendgrid?

      how did you get that set up? Ontraport is giving me the run around over doing that. I spend alot of money sending directly from ontraport. would be cheaper and better delivery if I could use send grid. But they wont let me alter smtp or even get it. Can you provide more insight on the private Ip route? halp!
