I've been using Profit Builder for around 5 months now and I'm really happy with it. I can build my entire funnels with it. It has optins pages, sales pages, thank you pages, webinars pages, reviews pages and some more I can remember right now.

The look of the pages is as good as Optimizepress and Leadpages, is a one time fee, best of all just a few dollars for unlimited domains and license to use for your clients sites too.

    A no brainer really.

I must said I do love Leadpages, however I've never liked the fact that if you ever wanted to stop paying their monthly or annual fee for whatever reason you automatically loose all your funnels.

And I also admit that I love Optimizedpress but I've never liked that I must pay for support every year and only use on my own sites not my clients.

As always is a very personal choice based on what kind of work you do online.

I use a system called marketer plugin and I use it for everything, sales pages, squeeze pages, videos etc. Its really easy to use, literally just drag and drop. I think it was $97.

For the longest time I used Epic Squeeze - it's not flexible, it's just amazingly quick... and does excellent squeeze pages.

But I've moved to Thrive Content Builder - because I want to play around with 2-step landing pages, and this was an easy way to do that, as well as granting me far more flexibility.

Of course, I get the increased flexibility in page layout at the expense of time... takes longer to put a page together.

But I'm rather happy with Thrive, if you're looking - it would be worth taking a look at.

I've been thinking of trying out Thrive. I've been getting emails about their new Leads plugin. Sounds like it might be worth taking a serious look at. I've been using Flexsqueeze a long time, and I make landing pages with one of their custom page templates.

But I would like something easier to use.

I'd like to know what are some of the difference with a wordpress
theme to use to create a landing/squeeze page vr's using a wordpress
    plugin to do it.

What do you use and why do you use it the way you do. Also, why don't
you do it the other way? Or do you use both?

I mean, could you use a wordpress theme that is specifically designed
to build a wordpress landing/squeeze page WITH a wordpress plugin
    that ALSO builds landing/squeeze pages?

Well any help on this topic would be very very useful as I am about
to begin doing this. I have hosting and a url and am about to get
    an auto-responder going this week.

A wordpress theme builds pages. If they look like squeeze pages, then it is said that is a squeeze page building theme.

All it means is that the pages are minimally designed to keep attention focused on the optin form.

A squeeze page plugin does the same thing, builds pages, sometimes in a special category.

If you have a theme where you can change around the design of the pages, you can make landing pages, or squeeze pages without needing a theme to do that, or a plugin.

I use a theme that has a minimally designed page template as a design choice so i use that and put my optin form on one of those.

Making a squeeze page or any kind of landing page is a lot less complicated than people make it out to be.

I personally know how to build simple pages from scratch using HTML.

I actually have a tutorial on my blog on how to do it. But if you want to build powerful squeeze pages - I highly recommend you to invest in the necessary tools. There are many out there.

I used to build my own from scratch using HTML. But now I have tools to help me build high converting capture pages. I recommend these two; Lead Pages and Power Lead System.

    I hope this helps!

    Keep up the great work!

    I wish you the best!

    Cheers!

Yes this is info I didn't know of, ty...

So I kind of figured that I would hear something about going with a premium product, weather it would be a paid theme or paid plug-in.

I am not against doing so, but I would need to find a low one time payment
theme or plugin as I only have limited resources, extremely limited.

It depends what are your needs and experiences
Out there are many companies that offer programs for squeeze page generation.
The best out there are mostly optimize press, lead pages and similar programs or WordPress plugins:

    Epic Squeeze
    FunnelKit
    Wp sales copy

They all have monthly subscription or a low purchase price.

If you are a just started out there and you aren’t familiar with how to invest initially for new programs, take my solution. You can download my“squezze page” for FREE!

Frankly, it is mine and you can use it or change it as you wish. You will also receive report how to customize it....

If you don't want all the monthly fees but still want the 2 step system that is the rave then try Squeezerobot.com It's what I use now as my static pages are looking drab as people drift off to the 2 step option.

Though I am used to messing about with html pages I could use that time to actually be creating or marketing my products.

I still use the static sqp for my customer list (actually I use the Aweber hosted opt in page) so just as Nino said it all depends on what you want it for. As has been drummed into me TEST to see what works for you.

      I hope this helps

I recently started making squeeze page on squeezematic. It is not a plugin but rather a site where you can make very good pages, easy to use. You do need to then download the page and then upload to your site so that is a bit of a pain. I find it works better that the WP plugins I have tried in the past.

I think squeezematic does have a fee but I get it free due to another program I joined.

I recently started using InstaBuilder2 (after doing everything by hands for long time), and have to say, I really like it.

Also would stay away from Thrive Content Builder, not only it did not work for me as advertised, they are really dragging it out on giving refund.

I had ProfitBuilder as well, but something happened and now it's not working correctly...at all.
Went and purchased ProStyler Theme and Ninja Popups (CodeCanyon) for exit, locker, and CTA opt-ins.
