Multiple lead magnets for one list?

Is it possible to create multiple lead magnets for one list?
Thinking this through and it's not adding up to me how to do this. I set up my follow up series so that the user gets a download sent to them immediately once they sign up. How would I create a new squeeze page with a new lead magnet? I want them to receive the exact same follow up series except for the firstt message.
In general... i've heard marketers talk about segmenting lists and shooting list members in all different directions in their follow up series based on certain things. How is this done?
Logic tells me that I would be able to edit my responder series messages so I can send certain messages to certain segments just like you can with broadcasts. I can't figure out how to do this in aweber. As far as I know... it seems like you can't edit series messages to be sent to certain segments.

    In AWeber just create new list. Copy all followups from old list and change first followup message.
