I think that is the definition of spam..

I think you need to be careful, this will do you much more damage in the long-run.

Best to stick to people who willingly subscribe.

There are certain things that determine whether an email is classed as spam by the mail program that the client is using. Mostly it is determined by keywords, so avoid words that are commonly used by spammers.

I read online too that I should not use keywords which are considered SPAM, but is least open rate or people marking them SPAM will effect my overall SPAM score ?

Should I use any tool to monitor it ?

You know what you could do is import the list of emails into Facebook Ad manager to create a custom audience, and then target them with ads. Get them to opt-in to your list using a lead magnet that will appeal to them.

First step would be cleaning your list. You should use email scrubbing service for that.
And then look into private email hosting or SMTP services.

Best way to get high open rates is to get into their inbox, for this you will need to use good email sending service.

It really is not a good idea to be honest to just buy emails and send out emails to those who have not opted for them. This could make you look bad in the long run if I am honest and increase your chances of being classed as spam. I would try and gain a list of subscribers and send emails that way, it gives you less chance of being classed as spam and for your emails to get noticed.

Share servers? Not sure what you mean but if you meant shared servers like the basic cheap packages you get with HostGator or BlueHost, then you're the type of person who likes to answer questions you know you don't know rather than just saying "I don't know".

A shared server is much more likely to KEEP missing the inbox.

I hope that you just have built the list instead.
Anyway, like winsoar said, there are certain keyword/s that you cannot use on your email.
On the other hand, you can run a test first in order to see if the emails you'll be sending will go straight to inbox's.

You actualy bought the list. So basically your subscrbers don't know you at all. Sending an email to them is spam.

1. Spend little more money to hire somebody to write a good email copy.
2. Ask previous owner of the list (if you still in contact with him) to send that copy to the list .
3. Add a link in the email copy that leads to your web site where they can subscribe to new list focused on same niche.

If you don't know the owner of the list, then add a note on the top of the email copy saying that , it is one time email to encourage the list to see a product/article (whatever it is in the copy) and send it.

Add an unsubscribe link in email.

Imho if you going to use an email marketing provider like aweber or get response, I would advice to chose one that is on a more expensive level.

Cheap email marketing providers are an attractive choice for spammers to hit and run and thus you are bound to experience some kind of issues.

It is spamming to send offer to those who are not opted in. However if you want to know sending email from a list where people are not opted in. please keep in mind for higher click rate.
- the subject should be tricky not to indicate anything of a commercial offer
- dont send link in you first email
- the body should also not indicate anything of in offer
- dont send it from your own server rather use an autoresponder as your server can be blocked
