Collected 400 emails now what?

Hi;

I collected 400 emails by advertising an opt in page on Bing.

Now should I just send them link to my pitch page? Can I be aggressive about my product?

Maybe once every 3 days?

What are some good strategies from here

I suggest you to make a quality email newsletter template & make a professional spam free newsletter. You can write newsletter by yourself or you can hire professional email newsletter writer.

I dont think those email owners have enought trust for you. So, NO, you should not be aggresive with your page. If you be aggresive they may think that you are just another internet scamer or spamer.

I appreciate you to collect emails, but I advise you to build first good relation with them by sending in your topic free information during one month at least. If people notice that you add value to their life, they will trust you and later will buy from you. Trust me, If you start to send them email without connect in their psychology with good free stuff, they will ignore you. Many marketers, the newbies, make mistake to think money first.
    To your success.

I think you might find that 400 users is not very much and even with good delivery, whatever you are selling might not have huge results. Work on building a bigger list and create a solid sales funnel and auto responder series for all new subscribers.

    • Being aggressive will not get you the results you want. You are just giving people a reason to unsubscribe.

Start by giving people a reason to stick around. A well-written, relevant newsletter may do the trick. Make sure you are offering info that is valuable or beneficial to them. Make this about them, not about you. If you decide to go with the newsletter route, have an editorial calendar (so you have a schedule of when you'll send it).

Work with what you have right now, then eventually grow your list.

    Hello!

Nurture your lists because this is your business asset to make money again and again. You must know your metrics like how many open your email (based on your subject lines), how many clicks your email. Remember even if you have 10,000 subscribers on your email lists and send email to them every single day, 2-3 times a week, if they do not open and click your email, you will none make money at all!

A good email marketing campaign should have lower or no unsubscribe.

Make sure to test and tweak your subject lines and content.

Check this out: Tactics to get higher open rates http://onestepupbyjc.com/tacticstoge...openrates.html

    Hope this help!

so you collected 400 emails with no idea with what you are going to do with them? It's not very wise to just start collecting emails with no direction. If you start sending emails out of the blue to these people, there is a big chance it won't mean much of anything to them. You should've been sending emails as soon as they opted in.

I suggest you begin building a relationship with your subscribers finding out their needs through surveys .After you figure out what your subscribers having most issues with I suggest providing quality content that will help with those issues while giving your product recommendation as a promo in the emails.

    Hi

The thing is this is a VERY quick in quick out niche. Guys after breakup. Get ex back. They are hot RIGHT NOW. In a month they won't care.

My other business which is about gardening I can take my time.

Your working a little backwards imo.

You should have constructed at least 5 Follow Up emails ready to send out once they optin to your List.

I would make sure to construct these before you do anything else.

You want to keep people 'current' and not sit there stagnant waiting for more interaction with you.

This is crucial. Their span of attention is greatest right now.

Every other day or 3 times a week is fine to send out emails

    - Robert Andrew

P.S. don't just send them link to your sales page. Actually engage with them by sending more helpful content in your emails.
You can put a P.S. link in their to give them further options to buy something that can help them

You are paying Bing to get subscribers and yet you are not sending anything yet?

I'd prefer to send a series of emails (called ecourse) on the topic of your list. So they will be in constant contact with you.

You can send product discounts in between. Or an article with an affiliate link might work too.

A great number of Internet marketers who discuss the ideas revolving round the concept of "the money is in the list" teach awesome things.

But most of them lead the marketers following their guidance to mistakenly believe that the journey between building an email list and making money from the list is short, straightforward and simple. Actually, this belief turns email marketing to something stressful for those who listen to them.

On the other hand, the internet marketers have not been teaching about how to handle virgin (fresh) email lists developed as a result of all what they teach.

    ------------------

    A Quick Note:

Immediately after reading the questions in BEHNAMPMDG3's post, I scribbled some points to create my reply to the questions. Out of the points emerged a WSO which is brought to you here to download freely.

    -------------------

That above three paragraph form the prelim of the WSO which clearly addresses the above mentioned wrong belief and how to handle and permanently profit from virgin email lists.

    The WSO is titled:

"Collected 400 eMails and Now What? How to Handle and Permanently Profit from Virgin eMail Lists"

The lessons in the WSO include how to impressively capture, from the beginning, the interest (particularly, the trust approval) of your freshly opted-in subscribers.

I thank Warrior BEHNAMPMDG3 for asking those pertinent questions.

    See the WSO link below.

You got to build that relationship first that's the key but there is a way to sell your product or an affiliate product without compromising your list and that's through effective rapport storytelling. That way you can sell to them every day.

My opinion is you better select best product 1st, then write an impressive newsletter in a mail template, optimize & run spam test. When all perfect then send mails. Targeted email ID's are always a big asset. Best of luck bro.
