Whats your BEST traffic source for building MMO/IM list ?

I've been doing email marketing for a while now.
I already have lists with a few thousands of subs.
But now I am testing new traffic sources.
- Ive built my list mostly with solo ads but the effectiveness isnt what it used to be and i need more sources outside of solos leads.
- I've tried bing so far it gave me nice results but i am having a few problems with them stopping campaigns and it seems pretty slow.
- I've tried safe lists with different offers mmo, list building etc. But so far it was waste of time even though i bought a product that said it works great.
- I've tried Twitter but the results i got were nowhere near what the wso I bought claimed.
Did anybody get any serious results with Twitter and without a branded account ?
- I also bought a product about Reddit but it wasnt specific enough to get leads for MMO/IM niche. I mean i understand how a startup company can get leads on Reddit.
But I am not sure what kinda IM content that wasnt posted in Reddit can create viral effect ?
- Ive tried fb ads but the cost per lead is way too high so far.

I didn't check ppv or 7search so far maybe i'll try that aswell.

Anyways I wonder Which traffic sources did you find the best to build your list in MMO/IM niche ? And what would you recommend ?
#building #list #mmo or im #source #traffic

Most free traffic sources are just going to give you a trickle at first. But all the trickles form together to make a nice sized stream.

The key is managing how much time you "waste" on it

Are you properly taking a core ad and split testing many other ads based on a simple change from the core ad like changing the picture but everything else the same?

Doing something like that will allow you to find ads that will get higher CTR's and higher CTR's means cheap clicks...

Of course and the leads still cost way more than solos or bing.

You've split tested at least 25+ per campaign and then finding the highest pulling CTR' ads you split tested those top 5-10 w/ something else like sales copy or demographic changes?
