What to do when opt-in increases over 200?

Hello,
I just wanted to know what to do when I start seeing people getting into my list. I mean what should I mail them?

And how frequently?

    Wow, where to begin

What niche is your list in?
If your collecting emails for a car customs website, I doubt they would want to get offers for buying flowers.
Keep your offers and such relevant to what your collecting them for.

Its worry some that you are building a list and do not already have the answers to these questions yourself already.

Frequency depends, some people mail their lists multiple times a day, some only once a week, it really depends on how much marketing vs transactional email you plan to send to your subscriber base.

You should already have auto responders in place and full tested before you even begin to build your list to be honest, but thats a conversation for another day.

You should already have at least 5 good follow ups already loaded in your Auto responder.

You should really Plan ahead much better than this.

You want to stay current with these prospects. Do not let them stagnate.

I mail every other day in my IM niche.

Usually just 3 days a week in my Non IM niche.

Send them information that is useful to them. Be funny, charming, personable, and a character...all wrapped up in one.

    Engage with them

Wow, that sounds like a lot.

I'm in the writing niche and my experience with lists is limited, but for now I made it a rule for myself to mail at least every second week and never more than once a week. If a newsletter mails me more than once a week, its content has to be absolutely stellar so I don't unsubscribe.

What is your experience with unsubscriber rates?

In which niches would you say you can mail more often?

Of course, mailing lots of quality content is important.

If you're publishing valuable blog posts on a regular basis, you could send your list a weekly digest. Or maybe a list of the most popular posts the last month. And of course: Ask them stuff and signal your interest and willingness to engage with them.

Depends on what you said to them to get them into your list ...

If it was a free offer, give them more info related to the offer then sell them something ...
