Aweber opt-in question - if anyone happens to know

I have a campaign set to double opt-in. However, there are a number of subscribers who have not confirmed. If I re-set the campaign to single opt-in, will my newsletter then go through for these people?

    Hey Joe,

To answer you questions, I have no idea. I would contact AWeber to find out.

Also, I would definitely stick with single opt-in. I was having the same problem. There were some people I knew who opted in when I had the double opt-in, and they weren't getting the emails (wasn't even in their spam box). Now I don't have any problems since I use single opt-in.

I went ahead and changed it to single opt-in. The unconfirmed are still unconfirmed, so I guess they're stuck in limbo. The upside is I've gotten a few new subs since changing it.

Yeah, unfortunately Joe those will remain unconfirmed.
Unless you somehow got them to re sign in to your present Optin. But that would not be feasible

Best bet is to just move on
