How to turn "FREEBIE SEEKERS" into customers...

Hi everyone,

I am guessing that many of you have seen, heard, or been a freebie seeker at one time or another (Hey, what's better than free content, right?

Has anyone had or seen any success in converting true freebie seekers into customers? For example, does it work best to throw a $1 offer out there to get the ball rolling, or do the seekers just tend to stick with the $1 item and wait for the next one to pop up? Etc.?

Thanks so much in advance, and best wishes to all...

Andy

    It absolutely works.

Depending on my niche, funnel offer, etc.

I can immediately convert 8-12% of subscribers right after the optin.

I go with something $10 or below as the "tripwire" then if they purchase that then they
    are shown up-sells and cross-sells.

Are your $10 and below offers generally affiliate items? I've had a tough time finding quality content or items in P.D. niche from affiliates. Thanks for the reply

        4 words.

        "Create your own products."

Main reason why people don't listen to the above advice?

        Laziness & ignorance.

        Major excuse used?

        "I don't know how"

        Solution?

Research the niche and map out a plan for the product.
Create a segment/topic for each part of the product that will solve
one or major problems to the end user.

Find free online information and use that (use your own words of course)
and even purchase people's products on that topic and use their information
(again, use your own words when crafting your product) and even put your own
        twist on the information.

        Package it up, sell it.

You now have no excuses. Go do it.

Laziness and ignorance - right on the money - it definitely was for me. There was one other issue - a lack of self confidence. I was never confident in my level of knowledge. As with most things, when you start to learn about something, you become acutely aware of how much you still don't know about it. Then, you figure - why would people listen to me about this when there are so many other "gurus" and experts out there. So I stayed quiet and didn't do what it takes.

I've heard it said that you only need to know 10% more then the person in front of you to be considered an expert. I've also heard it said that we teach best that which we most need to learn.

I've begun taking action. I've begun teaching. I've begun creating content.

and Guess what? I feel better, more confident and I feel like I've actually got something to offer other people now and it's a good feeling.

Don't let your own self doubt hold you back from doing what you really want to do. Take action, create content, create products and get the word out that you have done so.

          Laziness & ignorance. Unquote.

Yeah, ignorance is man's greatest dis-ease!

It depends on the niche, demographics and offer.

If the niche expects not to pay for stuff, then of course you'll have a hard time selling anything to them. Think about recipes. There are so many free ones out there that it makes very little sense to buy a book or e-book nowadays.

If the demographics are comprised of people who don't have money or credit cards (like teenagers), then of course you'll have a hard time selling anything to them.

If the offer sucks, then of course you'll have a hard time selling anything to them.

In conclusion, if you have a good niche, people with credit cards and money and a good offer, you can easily transform freebie seekers into buyers.
