Get an Aweber 30 day trial.

Get LeadPages or MegaPhoneApp.

Create a capture page and make it redirect to an affiliate offer as soon as people opt in.

Put a signature in the WF.

Buy Solo Ads to that capture page.

This subject is a VERY big subject and I suggest you do some googling in order to find some better information, maybe you should even buy a few products around that subject

Here are the steps.

1. Find a good autoresponder.
2. Create good looking forms.
3. Embed them on your blog and drive traffic.
4. Create a landing page and send paid traffic.
5. Create videos and use your landing page link in the description.

I'd personally go with Get Response as you get a 30 day trial + full training. Also, you get $30 credit when you upgrade.

Nobody here can answer this for you in a paragraph or two. I'd recommend taking a course ("Inbox Blueprint" is a very good course on email marketing).

i always use aweber, good service. i personally do not like getresponse. for squeeze page u can use papertemplate too... not bad, if u are in budget

Create a MailChimp account and just integrate it with your website.

First of all i'm build opt-in page (Landing page) and hosted on my blog after that you need integrate opt-in form (for collecting your visitors’ contact details). Next step you'll need ethical bribe to give visitors (in exchange for their contact details). To encourage people to join your list, give them a freebie that offers valuable information. It could be a video, an ebook, a podcast, or an application. In my case its ebook at first and video lessons ay the second step.
At last install autoresponder (aweber, mailchimp, getresponse) for organizing your collected emails and sending messages to them.

You have been given some very good summaries of viable list building methods. You will, however, sooner or later need a more comprehensive and detailed description from a proven source.Effective list building is something you need to study and learn. Best to do that from someone who has been very successful doing it. They are unlikely to be able to tell you everything in a post here.

Speaking of numbers ... I recently saw a EXCELLENT CONVERSION page.. And they generated about 200,000 sign ups.. But when they launched they only had about 1300 upgrades.... SOO.. In a numbers point of view less than 1%...

I've had a pre-launch with only 13,000 members in my list and when I launched I had close to 800 upgrades..

So when you do build your list, Remember they are PEOPLE and , if you treat them right and EARN their respect, and EARN their trust. A list of 500 people may work better for you than a list of 5000.... When I opt in to someones list to subscribe for a weekly newsletter I actually have interest in, and than the first 4 days I get promotions or ads not even related to the newsletter I automatically opt-out.... Honor what your saying your giving away or getting them to opt in for. If it's for a newsletter .. Than just send the newsletter ... Try to get their birthdays , or get them to like your FB page so you'll see their birthdays and send them a "Happy Birthday" ... Just tips on "Relationship Building" not "list building"....

If BUILDING your list is all you're asking, then here's my recommendation:

1. Get an autoresponder (like AWeber or GetResponse)
2. Have an incredible free offer
3. Offer it on your squeeze page (I use Weebly for simple page building)
4. Drive traffic.

Be sure your free offer targets what the prospect is seeking answers for.

I personally prefer YouTube for residual traffic. If I make a video about traffic, my squeeze page offers an awesome 'traffic' guide, etc. Do the work once, grab traffic 'forever.'

Also, I use a free viral list building software to multiply the efforts of my traffic driving...and offer an up-front $7-$20 product to make quick commissions, so that I can get some money together to also pay for traffic (Solo Ads, Banners, PPC, whatever) Much faster and easier.

As others have said, there's so many other details to the process. YouTube some info and invest money into some courses too. You might even see how some YouTube videos you find are trying to convert YOU into a list subscriber, just like we're advising you to do in this thread

I know this does not tell you how, but here are Two Ideas to get you a list of buyers. Worth infinately more than getting cold leads.

Create a good product of your own and sell it through this system, then keep doing the same.

Contact owners of upcoming launches and ask to give your good products away by placing a link to them on the thankyou/download pages of these peoples products. Those links go to your capture page first. :>)

Learn how to do either or both of these things and you will be building a good business and a valuable list that you can also sell other good offers to.

Provide some offer on your product/service to collect your database.

I suggest a good austoresponder, getresponse is very good, then focused on products targeted primarily on the structure of your web page

I have had a good experience cold emailing people. It is not a typical cold-email in the sense that I ask them for quotes for an upcoming blog, etc. People normally respond, and once they do, I notify them when the article goes live. Once this partnership is over, they normally ask me to get back in touch with them for any future articles I write. So I take that as a permission to add them to my email list.

You can easily grow your list by 500 or 600 over a 6 month period. Not shabby if you also take up several other email list building techniques.

You can Do it with Aweber or Mailchim. I Always Support Mailchimp they are the best.

That's how I build my list. Is it the best way... nope... it's a bit slow unless you have a 'hit' product with lots of affiliates promoting for you.

I will also recommend Get Response is a great way, still buy books and courses on the subject.
