Email marketing, how to start building your list?

I've done a lot of PPC, but never integrated an email submit or opt in to any of my marketing and building a targeted list. I Would like to try with a few niches, just wondering, what tips could you give me or where could I start?

If you want to stick with PPC, then try directing your PPC traffic to a landing page/capture page where you can capture the visitor's email address and whatever other information you would like, and then you can redirect them to an affiliate offer (this way you can hopefully recoup some of the PPC costs as you build the list).

    Good luck!

If you are looking for PPC tracking software and affiliate link tracking software, check out Improvely.

I just started with them on a 14 day trial, and their cheapest plan is $30/month and includes quite a lot of features. You can track your affiliate links so you can see which keywords, ads, etc. are producing sales.

Tracking real people, not just clicks. Building profiles of their past activity, so you can see the whole picture (they came from this ad, then from this ad, then signed up for this list, then clicked through this mail, then purchased this, then came back from this facebook post...). Giving you a customizable conversion attribution model, not just "the last thing they clicked". Protecting you from click fraud. Tracking lifetime customer value, revenue per person, and other long-term metrics, with an infinite tracking window. Relieving you from the duty of running and scaling servers for your tracking.

Do you have $250 to spare?

Inbox Blueprint is an amazing course to get you started. I took it myself some time ago and I currently make a living online primarily with money made from my email lists.

    You have a few options:

    #1 Start a blog

Blogging is a great way to build your authority within your niche, warm up your leads, and to include call-to-actions to subscribe to your email newsletter.

This is a great way to start, especially on a low-budget.

You can use plugins, which are just tools to make your blog more user friendly and easy to use, to create opt-in forms that go on your sidebar, beneath your posts, in the middle of your posts, at the very top header of your page.

The more you expose your visitors to your opt-in forms, the better chance you give yourself at capturing a lead.

This goes without saying that you need valuable content on your webpage.

    #2 Facebook Marketing

Do you have a facebook page or personal profile? Facebook connects you with everyone around the world, and they have features where you can narrow your search for people who would be interested in whatever you're promoting/selling.

Start building an audience there and include call-to-actions for people to subscribe to your email newsletter --> which redirects them to a capture page.

This will take time, but I've seen people make a killing using free facebook marketing.

    #3 YouTube

Follow the same principles as Facebook marketing. Create a lot of videos and optimize them for search engine optimization so they stand the best chance at ranking at the top of the page.

Then in your videos, you can tell people to subscribe to your email newsletter to get more tips. You can also include links in your video description box below the video that links back to your capture page and collects emails.

    1- Create a 1-page landing page/squeeze page.

    2) Use GetResponse.com to integrate webform to collect email address.

    3) Offer something free in return of people's email.

    4) Send them the free gift you promised.

    5) Put about 15-30+ emails in your autoresponder. These emails will be delivered to your subscribers automatically at specific dates and times.

    6) Promote affiliate links within your emails. Test different copies to earn maximum revenue.

    7) Now pay full attention to grow your email list by sending more and more targeted traffic to your squeeze page.

    8) Use free and paid methods of traffic to your squeeze page. Facebook ads, Youtube videos, pinterest, slideshare.net, blog commenting etc.

    Good Luck.
