Configuring RDNS and Domain Signature..

Hi everyone !

Plz I have a server with 16 Ips and I want to know how can I run and configure RDNS tools, DKIM and SPF Signature to use it for email Marketing?

    Why not contact the company you got the server/ips from for rdns? As far as spf and dkim, this goes to who is handling the dns and if they support it.

    rDNS is actually setup by the hosting company. Some hosting companies also give you panel to do that yourself. In simple terms rDNS needs to be configured to setup the feedback loop.

    This way, if someone marks your email as spam etc, a feedback can be send back to the IP and the rDNS than forwards it to the right domain where the message originated from.

    Also DKIM and SPF needs to be entered on the domain end. So for example if you have purchased your domain from Godaddy. DKIM and SPF records and forward DNS records will be entered at Godaddy.

    The rDNS will be entered at the hosting company end.

      Could you please tell me how can I fix SPF and DKIM and other signature with the parameter (=pass) ?

      This is assuming you use your domain registrar to control your DNS.

      In any case, wherever your domain name DNS zone file resides, you must add a TXT record. For SPF you need to include your mailing IPs and for DKIM you need to paste your Public signature.

      SPF:
      @ IN TXT "v=spf1 a mx ip4:1.2.3.0/24 -all"

      DKIM:
      anyselector._domainkey.maildomain.com. IN TXT ( "v=DKIM1; k=rsa; g=*; s=email; h=sha256; t=s; p=yourpublickey

      There are many third party online tools you can use where you just paste your domain or IP and it generates and provides the content of the TXT record to add to your domain zone file.

      While you're at it, if you are confident these two tests both pass authentication, add DMARC.

      _dmarc.maildomain.com. IN TXT "v=DMARC1; p=reject; rua=mailto:postmaster@maildomain.com"

    Are you gonna use these IP's for PMTA? If it does i can help you set it up for free. Just let me know. I can configure DKIM, SPF, Demarc, and the rDNS - your 16 IPs paired with host records and submitted to your hosting provider that's the scenario.
