Buying legit Email Lists

There are many places to purchase these lists; InfoUSA, AccuData, Dun & Bradstreet and many, many others. Avoid SpecialDatabases.com. Had to use BBB to get a $900 refund.

Some are opted-in, some double opted-in. Good lists with emails verified within the past 30 days cost on average $1.25 per business at D&B. Theirs are the best list I have ever purchased. Worth their weight in gold.

At D&B, that is correct. :-) Prices do vary with other companies, but generally in life - you get exactly what you pay for. D&B is the 'gold standard' and the best does always cost more.

Jayy, I think the advice that most experienced marketers would give you is, don't buy a list. Even if they are double opted in you would not be able to put them into your autoresponder without breaking their T&C's and possible getting banned.

I've tried these services in the past and spent a lot of money on supposedly top class leads and made no money at all from them. Build your own list. Yes it takes longer, but in the end it will be much more worthwhile.

That's ridiculous. If you buy a list that is relative to your niche and you use a service like Clickback to verify and scrub it, you can have a very successful sales campaign without violating anyone's TOS.

If you don't have a clue how to do something effectively, you should not dissuade others from what can be an extremely profitable business model

It didn't work for you, so it just plain doesn't work. You couldn't prove that by my clients that consistently make money employing this strategy.

If you don't know what you are doing, hire a professional to do it for you.

That is true. You start with Clickback to clean your list. You do your first mail through their service. After you mail, they then opt-out of future mailings or opt-in to your list at the mail service of your choice. Easy-peasy. The idea is to re-purpose the list that you purchased.

Clickback.com. Educate yourself. It's good to learn something new, every day of your life - especially if it is something that you bill yourself as an authority on.

No. People here do not want to spend money to do things properly. The most popular word on WF is 'free' and in life, you get exactly what you pay for. I'm aware of someone that I turned on to the service who will be using it in the next week or so. He promised to report back to me. I have just moved to them myself after using another company that disappeared.

My stock market trading software client rents access to opted-in lists of people who have signed up specifically for financial and investment products all the time. It's typically $3000 a mailing, which like Frank says puts it out of the range of the freebie seekers.

Month in, month out. We drive the traffic to the free+shipping front end offer...then an invisible funnel offer...then an application...then a qualifying call...then a sales call and it's a $5000 end sale.

The front end, free+shipping, pays for the emailng all by itself.

To make this work, though, you have to have:

> a really hungry market

> an awesome funnel filled with extraordinary content

> an amazing end product that qualified prospects immediately "get" is as valuable as you say it is.

I choose my clients carefully for this reason.

Don't buy Email lists! One of the worst things you can do! Unless you know how to target these prospects to where they specifically opt in to your page they are useless and you would have wasted your money, stay away.
