Aweber Bounced Rate

Hello,

What is an average bounce (normal) rate with Aweber? My Aweber BR is 1-2%..Is it too high?

Is there any way to decrease BR?

    The bounce rate may be not because Aweber. Maybe Your headline is not catchy or your subscriber got email and did not even open for some reason

    Anything under 10% is OK. There are two type of bounces soft bounces and hard bounces.

    Soft bounces are normal as that can happen some times due to server glitches or any technical issues. Hard bounces are serious due to fake, incorrect or invalid emails.

    Most of the email companies remove hard bounced emails automatically from system.

    I think bounce threshold should be 5%. You are quite below that threshold so nothing to worry about.

    However, you might want to talk to Aweber support about reason for sudden increase in bounce rates. This might be a technical glitch on their end

    Bouncing should be always small. They should be sorted out during the initial few autoresponder messages.

    My average bounce on newsletters is around 0.11%
