Interval between follow ups emails

Hello Warriors,

Those who are successful with their email marketing campaigns,

1. Can you please suggest what should be the intervals between follow up emails when I am targeting affiliate marketing products? Especially when I am marketing my first affiliate product....

2. Also, what should be the transition interval between 2 such products; i.e after how many days I should pitch in for my 2nd affiliate product after I have finished marketing my first product.

3. How many follow up emails should be ideally composed for marketing of each affiliate product so that there is better chances of conversion.

The idea is to balance my sales pitch and spam control.

    1. Advice is 7, 14 and 21 days follow up process for 3 products.

    2. I pitch next product after finishing 7 day cycle of first product.

    3. 7 emails with different angles informative, scarcity, urgency etc.

You can modify any thing, as per your list segmentation and responsiveness....

Just keep it fresh so they don't get bored of being pitched the same product for too long.

You may want to have an instant follow up which s more of a welcome email, and another email that goes out after that on the same day with more details explaining more about the business, how it's going to work and this is where you can either take advantage of fast action takers, or connecting with subscribers who would rather discuss before jumping straight in so... getting them to add you on Facebook or joining a group and build the relationship from there.

You could go several ways about this, but your best bet might be to incorporate it right after the next one. Depending on what your product is about, you should consider tying things together in the sense that you have a system and for each product you hit every angle and dive into the next one.

So to some extent you'll be promoting daily for at least 7-10 days but it all blends in a way that you're also giving value. This is the process where you're going to resonate with more people and building stronger relationships whilst at the same time, making sales along the way. Then from there you'll focus on the occasional trust building emails, pre-sell and promotion emails.[/QUOTE]

It's going to vary. You really need to break it down on the problems that people currently face, then create a new value based email from 1 angle and another from the next email and so on until all those angles have been reached. For some people it might be 2-3 emails, and for others i might be 5-6 emails. Each offer will be different, but focus on value and the core objective of the customer in order to help improve your conversions.

    1. I send emails out daily. A mixture of content, offers and also random emails which could be related to myself or something I might be doing.

    2. I normally push something for about 3 emails and then move on on the next product of choice.

    3. I have 3 emails per offer.

Not saying my method is correct however it has been working pretty well.

The key is you have to find out what you subs what, what subject works, what words get their action so it will take testing, testing, testing and more testing.

    Good luck.

    1. Daily for at least 14 days, better 365 days.

    2. 30 days works best for me, if you sell a new product every week I wouldn`t buy from you due to the fact that there aren`t so many great products in ANY market.

    3. see point 1

This approach relies on YOU providing value every single time you mail otherwise you will burn your list.

Say if you have 2 products and each product has it's own squeeze page, would you do 2 lists and have the first 7 days selling the first product then after 7 days sell the next one?

Also would you merge the 2 lists after a certain time?

Just recently purchased a course by Nathan zadworny called "email hero" very detailed and tells you what interval he uses and how to create a follow up and also affiliate promotions. Btw. I'm no way affiliated with this product. I think it was only like $10! Other than that if you have the money look up Andre chaperon he created many of the good email marketers around today with auto responder madness. I think he has a new one out now but not sure... Hope this helps.

Minimum of seven days is required for a good campaign.
