Looking for help with ARPReach

I'd like to start using ARPReach to send out my emails on my own server.

But I have a lack of knowledge regarding how best to set it up.

I'm looking to find someone who could help me set it up. (I will pay for expert help.) But I need someone with specific knowledge of setting up ARPReach. Not just installing it but these issues below.

What I need help with (that I know of):

1. Where to host and keep the costs relatively low. I know it probably needs a VPS at minimum. But how big a plan to get?

2. I plan on doing most of my mailing through third party SMTP providers like Amazon SES, Mandrill, SendGrid, ElasticEmail and so on. Therefore I probably don't need a large hosting plan as they'll be delivering the emails for me.

3. Do I need to set up FBL or Feedback Loop Processing or would that be handled with the SMTP services? Or should I have that setup on my own server anyway for doing transactional emails?

I suppose other questions might come up. And there's probably stuff I have not thought about.

Years ago I used to send emails with ARP3 or the predecessor of ARPReach. But I had to stop because email delivery was going way down. But now I can handle that issue via SMTP services.

So if you could help with these issues I'd appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

Roger

The best place if you have a legitimate license is to contact the arpReach team and have them do it Michel will be able to answer your questions and for an additional fee can help you with more than just the basic installation service.

That depends on lots of factors, not least the size of your list and how long you plan to keep records etc.

Correct - as long as your server meets the minimum requirements you'll be fine.

    3. Do I need to set up FBL or Feedback Loop Processing or would that be handled with the SMTP services? Or should I have that setup on my own server anyway for doing transactional emails?
The third party ESP's you've outlined will handle that for you. Currently arpReach doesn't handle FBL directly.

    Hope that helps

      Thank you very much Kevin,

I'll be contacting your support about assisting me with these issues.

I've been waiting a long time to start using ARPReach.

And yes indeed I have a legitimate license. I used ARP3 long ago and was upgraded to ARPReach.

      Thanks,

      Roger

P.S. I'm looking forward to your new upgrades.
