Aweber turned on "confirmed opt-in" for new accounts

Hi there guys ,

I have opened a new aweber account and was immediately shocked to see that they have turned the "confirmed opt-in" on by default . It means all people have to do double opt-in and there is no way to turn off this requirement.

This has made my solo ad campaigns far less fruitful since I am getting far fewer subscribers .

Anyone with suggestions on what can be done ?

I was actually deciding whether to use Aweber or Getresponse I chose Getresponse. The cool thing is you won't even need a credit card yet for 30 days. I have no idea when the solo ad is going out but you can open up a get response account (temporarily) for the solo ad campaign then transfer everything to Aweber. Its pretty simple to put it on single optin. Its worth a try...if its not to late. Otherwise go to google and try youtube they may have your answer hope this helps.

You can turn it off in your campaign settings or account settings.
If you are using Aweber on your Landing Page to connect it direct with your list, dont use the API Key, use the html code.

    Your joking , right ?
You ran Solos on Double ?

Please, you should be able to turn it off manually. If not call Aweber and have them do it on their end.

You will make more in the long run with single optin.

If I remember correctly, double opt-in is always on by default. But you can turn it off.

And please, like people said above, don't run solos on double opt-in
