Free Advertising vs. Paid

Hi All,

Newbie here and slowly building my list via paid solo ads and funnel clicks and when I get to 1,000 subscribers, I'll look forward to click banking with some of you so we can both grow our lists.

I'm sure this has been asked - did a search here but couldn't find it, maybe I didn't look hard enough - but what do you recommend regarding free advertising? It's understood you have to invest in your business to build your list and it's the quickest way, but I'm curious on what type of free advertising you recommend other than Craigslist? Thanks.

    - create a social network (facebook, twitter) page and start post article, ohoto and interact with other page and members!

    - post on forum

    - post on blog

    - SEO

    - open a free blog and write article every days for some months, so you can get organic free traffic!

    Blog building is a good one.
    If you start a blog, link to a facebook, twitter page you can work on one and deliver to all, although it'd still be good practise to keep an eye on all of them.

    I tried facebook group targeting (advertising in niche groups) but I found this heavily time consuming contactin 250+ groups a night for little opt in.
