I am Gabriel Watkins, a business owner. My business is not going well nowadays. So, my friend suggests me to proceed with e-mail marketing promotion. He was also telling about bulk mailing option. That's why, I'm looking for a reliable, transparent, secure and affordable hosting solutions who can provide me VPS Server for bulk mailing facilities. For this purpose, I've searched on Google & found information about few providers. One among them is Juluhost. I've also gone through their website which looks quite impressive. But I'm a bit confused, as I've no idea about this domain. So I thought for seeking about an expert advice, may be some of you have any knowledge about this company & their services.

    You'd be better off using a 3rd party mailing service vs trying to bulk-mail from a VPS.

    I've been running my own servers and custom built mail platform for 15 years. I also use autoresponder services. For the average person, running your own is more than likely not warranted.

    Go check out aweber.com, getresponse.com, icontact.com, etc, etc... Most all autoresponder services these days offer a free trial, so you can try before you buy. You will be up and running much quicker and for less money.

    I would also like to seek guidance about VPS's. I found 3-4 average ones, but they are not that good.

    I think softlayer would minimize your headache a lot

    Make sure you send only one message to each recipient.
    Try to make the Subject of the message as specific as possible.
    If the recipients have opted to receive messages from you, provide a means by which they can unsubscribe.
    Don't email list members more frequently than they would reasonably expect to hear from you.

    Following these suggested practices will help prevent email messages you send being discarded as spam.

    Hi Gabriel - what type of contacts will you be bulk emailing?

    Using a service like MailChimp, if you're emailing cold contacts, will most likely cause issues. There are only a few email sending platforms that can handle sending in bulk and to cold contacts. Feel free to check out Clickback - we're one of the few platforms that can help you out!
