Hello Warriors,

Hope you all doing great.

Have read many saying that, average subscriber value is $1/month.

Definitely depends on the market, product or service and quality of subscribers (buyer or freebie).

According to you,
  • How true is $1/month subscriber value?
  • What is your subscriber value until now?
  • Is the subscriber value going down?
Thanks in advance for your pro insights.

Cheers,
Tarun Reddy

Okay well for me it depends.

I have had some IM lists where the value of each subscriber was probably something close to $0.45 per month. I have also had an all male Muscle Building email list that was probably worth somewhere close to $2 per subscriber which was fantastic. The difference between those two lists were the first one I made early on in my career and had no clue how to build a relationship or how important it was. The second list, I had emails coming from my subscribers daily so they were really engaged with me and we had a great relationship.

So it really depends on a number of different factors mostly having to do with the person making the list.

Don't wish it were easier, wish you were better.

$1 per month a subscriber isn't true for everyone. Some people earn way less per subscriber and others earn a LOT more per subscriber. It all boils down to the relationship you have with your list, how well you market to them, and how much they know like and trust you.

I think it all depends on the niche and the value of what you are selling. I dont think its impossible to do if you do good research.

      Hello Eric,

      How you doing?

Thanks a lot for your reply.

At worse case, can we expect a subscriber value to be at least 10 cents per month?

Many people are bombarded with emails and same offers in their inbox, i was thinking that may be the value of subscribers is going down.

So, building relationship is the key to maintain good subscriber value.

      Hello Edwin,

      Yes, very true.

Do you think we have to become an authority? And build a personal brand?

I have seen some people though having no knowledge about the subject, using networking they are building their personal brand and becoming good affiliate marketers.

May be we have to decide how we want to position ourselves in front of the crowd.

Yes henry. Definitely depends on the niche and product.

Will be glad if you can share your stats so far.

      It will be really helpful.

It depends upon your sales funnel too, if it's highly converting then the value of subscriber could be even more than $2 per month. But if your sales funnel does not convert your subscribers into customers, than it's of no value.

All the big marketers like John Chow, Neil Patel, Frank Kern etc have highly converting sales funnel, that's why they claim their subscribers to be worth $1 per month.
