Deliverability - Aweber or Get Response

Lately my Aweber list has been getting much less opens than my Get response account but I get a lot more bounces in Get Response. Anyone using both with the same thing happening? Looking to get rid of one of them to save on costs.

Do you seed your lists or have a seed list and test deliverability?

that depends on the content of the email you sent out...
are both of them(aweber & getresponse) having same subscribers list? if yes then possible that some of the list are inactive..
are both of them using same email content? because different content might cause the email to be sent to junk mail... causing them didnt saw and open your email....

Yes I'm testing the same emails on both lists with the same follow ups.

I didn't use Aweber. But I have used Mailchimp, GetResponse and Rocket Response. Mailchimp have higher deliverability than GetResponse and Rocket Response.

I love Mailchimp, but cost is high.
Rocket Responder is cheap solution. $20 per unlimited subscribers.
Getresponse and Mailchimp have same features. But, I have faced some problems with it.

Over 7 million people use Mailchimp and aweber has 120000 users around the world.

I have no experiences with AWeber.

My opinion definitely goes towards Aweber.

And there's a good point there...

The only way for you to correctly test is if you have the same exact emails, going out to the same list, at the same time.

Then just check your CTR for both and go with the better one

    Hope that helps!

I don't use GetResponse anymore and just use Aweber as my primary.

If anything I am getting more opens all of sudden I don't really know why but I'm not really complaining.

But when I was using GetResponse and Aweber, my GetResponse account was getting
way more bounces than my Aweber list was.

But for me I just got rid of GR account and just stuck with Aweber.

Maybe you should just use Mail Chimp, that's the best one in my opinion

if you are looking for a cost effective solution, then i would suggest amazon ses as it does cost only 10 cents for each 1000 email sent, i use it every week to email 450k subscribers and the deliverability is high.

sometimes you will have a less open rate due to your emails being endup in the promotional section or social section, and to overpass this issue you always need to test your newsletter before you blast it.

also the less open rate migh be due to the ip address that was assigned to you from these providers, sometimes the ISPs might flag an ip address causing to most of the emails if not all of them being endup in spam.
