Selling physical products using email marketing?

Hy warriors!

Can you tell me, does anyone have experience in selling physical products online using email marketing strategy?

Everyone is telling about digital products, but is it possible to sell for example cosmetics and earn reasonable income? The commisssions seem to be low, but those are products that can be sold over and over to the same email list.

What do you think?

    Hey Ivana,

It really depends A LOT on the relationship with your list.

Obviously physical products need to be produced so they have much smaller margins so the sellers can only give so much of a commission (which is why most people sell information products)

It also really depends on your niche.. What's the reason for selling the physical goods? Is there no information products you can promote that they'll enjoy?

If you obviously really love a physical product then you should promote it, but I believe a mix of both is great.

Just remember build the relationship between you & your list and create value for them. Send them only products you really think they'll benefit from.

They're your best friends! So treat them that way and you'll have a solid source of income.

    Hope this helps

Thank you for your advice, it helps a lot!

Well, I am still in stage of struggle at the beginning so I don't have a list yet. The reason I chose my niche, acne skincare niche to be exact, is that I know a lot about that topic and my knowledge is based on my personal experience. And I know the cure so I am offering my free report in which I reveal it. I KNOW this is helpful. I found a reliable information that the acne market is worth $3 billion annually. So I thought I must be onto something. Is this niche unprofitable when it comes to email marketing?

But what next? There are no digital products about skin care so I thought of trying to sell physical products. I think it's not good to build a list around acne and then try to sell them for example, weight loss program. What do you think?

Please help me, I so much want this to work!

You can try to buy a database list with this specific characteristics. Otherwise you can look up some forums with these types of subjects and start advertising there to subscribe for something. Don't start immediately with selling because you first have to build a relationship with them. I hope this is helpful !

If there's no digital product out there about acne control you can always create one! Try making a little $5-$20 eBook and put it on amazon kindle while you promote other physical products.

$5-$20 is most likely going to be the range of commissions of promoting physical goods. And if you get a lot of conversions on your little eBook & good reviews on Amazon Kindle it may organically rank high in that niche and you can earn passive income just from people looking up "Acne solutions" on Amazon Kindle (KDP) without you having to promote it!

    Just a thought

well... in email marketing... i dont think is there is a limitation where you can only sell digital products... you can also sell physical product... for example like ebay,, amazon,... if you are a member of their website... I am sure that everyday you will receive emails from them... which they sell physical products..

in the end is how you sell your products only...
