Sending one of emails?

Hi,

I'm trying to work out the best method to send one off emails (similar to those created in Mail Chimp) to single email addresses, ideally using a drag & drop builder.

I use Mail Chimp to send out newsletters to subscribers, but would like to send out a one off follow up email to individuals (whether they've signed up to our newsletter or not) once they have completed a course with us. Can anyone suggest a suitable method please?

Thanks

For one off emails just use your regular email account
If it is a standard email you want to send, then just put in on notepad, copy and paste

Thanks, but I would like to create an email similar to what I can create in the drag and drop editor in Mail Chimp. i.e. eye catching, with buttons and images. I don't think that's straight forward with a standard email client.

Make a few lists, setup your auto-responders for each lists. Post into MC's API. Profit.

For instance, each of your lists will have a different "Welcome" email going out. This way, when you post into MC's API, you can handle who's getting what.

Initially sending through MC's API would require a unique user in your list. So, having said that if you look at: https://apidocs.mailchimp.com/api/ho...-campaigns.php You'll se that MC doesn't readily offer that. What you CAN do, is grab something like Mandrill, but it's going to require either a bit of coding on your side or some Wordpress plugin to handle it for you.

If I were you, I'd look into something like Interspire, where you can manage your campaigns yourself on your own server. This would be the "best-case" scenario, if you have the resources to make it happen.
