Big brands who send an email everyday

Hey everyone,

I signup to a few big e-stores and they end up emailing me 1-2 a day. It's so annoying and I end up leaving.

But they all do it so my guess is that it works. What is their idea behind it? I would assume that so many people would just un-subscribe after a few days.

What do they email so often, is it because there's a small % of people who open every (most) emails and purchase?

Thanks

I would assume it's what they found produces the best ROI.

The real key to figuring out what produces the highest ROI is just watching your stats and to test how aggressive you can be and back off when something become unacceptable. Then continue to watch your stats and adjust as needed.

They're all about driving the highest quantity of clicks possible, period.

Email marketing is largely a number's game.

The more people who click on your links, the more traffic you get, the more business and sales.

People like to argue this point... But just look at the biggest organizations on the planet.

They email daily, because it works.

Email marketing is cost-effective way for doing marketing. All depends on how many persons click on the given link. Most of the people just ignore received emails. They don't even bother to open these emails.

    Why not?

If you had something amazing to share with the world...

Wouldn't you want to put it in front of your targeted audience as much as possible?

Those who don't like it can simply unsubscribe.

    No harm, no foul.

Not everyday I would not, but that's just me as I don't respond well to aggressive ads, but it must work as all the big brands are doing it, but i wanted to know how it works.

      I guess it's all about clicks = $

it gets so annoying when I get the same email again and again and I end up unsubscribing. What the marketer needs to know is that one email is enough to create interest for me to click the link. Don't send to me what you have be sending daily, it gets so boring to be predictable. Mail me with something different and a new offer and by this be sure to drive traffic to the site.
