Save Money With PAYG Email Autoresponder...

Greetings Fellow Warriors!

I am just wondering what your thoughts are on PAYG Email Autoresponders for someone just starting out in Internet Marketing?

I have recently purchased and reviewed 'Email Addiction by Louis Kennedy', which was recommended by one of the other members in this forum, and in this ebook it talks about getting an email marketing interface software, and then a PAYG email provider, which will cost around $100 to setup but could save $1000s in the long run.

This option seems a lot more enticing to me than having to pay $20-30/month since I don't have an email list to market to yet. For instance MailChimp offers a starting up option, where the first 2,000 subscribers and first 12,000 emails are FREE.

What are your thoughts?

Hi, I've never used a PAYG email service but my recommendation would be to stick with a reputable email autoresponder service...

...mainly because they will help you get your email passed ISPs.

If ISPs see that there is a lot of email coming from your domain, but that it's not a recognised autoresponder service, you might find that your emails will not get through.

So what do you use? How can somebody who is a total newbie go into it?

I was using GetResponse, but felt it was money going down the drains since I didn't have a list yet.

I'm hoping that I can maybe use something that's more economical, and consider upgrading, or importing my email list later on...

Would you consider MailChimp a Reputable Autoresponder Service Provider?

Hm. I haven't heard of that one. I use GetResponse personally. I think, when it comes to autoresponders especially, you want to make sure to get a good one that is well known with good support.

If you are just starting i wouldnt recommend a PAYG email service... ill go with a reputable AR compnay and once you understand all the variables involve in email marketing just make the switch...
