Why email marketing is with extremely Low opening rate

I used some email marketing site's service to make email marketing plans, but it seems the opening rate is always under 10% while the site's example show many of them are reaching the rate of 40%-50%.... All the users I emailed are registered users on our website..

    Anyway, low open rates could be a number of things. Bad Sub lines, very unresponsive list, untargetted list, failure to establish your name so no one wants to open it etc..etc..

      I think in the travel business email marketing should work great....

      - you should have captured the emails of all your previous customers and be engaging them periodically by sending them "special" offers.
      - as a travel consultant, you should be keeping informed of all the airline offers and inform your customers by email. I know for sure all Airlines throw out offers very quickly and as a consumer, I don't have time to keep in touch. That leaves my travel consultant to do the monitoring and tell me "hey on xx/xx/2016 the flights from Malaysia to Hanoi are on offer at $xxxx, are you interested? We can put together a hotel and tour package for only $xxx at xxx hotel...."

    Well it depends what spam score is you email content, what server ip are you using while sending the email, (if you are using your own server) , also try to use catchy titles on subject etc ..

      People are so use to using Facebook and other social media sites now a days until email is slowly fading. It still works but with social media and texting , it is hard to compete.
