Running out of cold prospects

Hey Warriors,

A few weeks ago, I wrote a few lines of code that allow me to find good prospects and their e-mails (who I then cold-contact). This works okay for us (we get a good 3-4% of people who decide to order our services) and since our business is very new, I like cold-calling to have an initial client base.

The problem is that I'm running out of e-mails now. It feels like I arrived at the end of my market (with about 700 e-mails) -- I know I did not (it's a market of a few hundreds of thousands people) but I feel like I'm a bit lost when it comes to cold calling now.

How/where do you find new prospects to cold-call? Maybe that'll give me ideas

Thanks!

I have no idea what or who your market is, but hell, pick up a phone book and start hammering. It really can be that simple..

I found that to be very ineffective in my case. I contact clients when they need it only (impossible to know with just a phone book). Just as an example (this is not my market), think about a page which has just been slammed by a Google update -- I'll be able to pick up the signals and call the client who's been slammed.

That's the whole problem: I'm running out of "slammed" clients ;-)

thanks a lot for your help
